I remember the first time I heard it. I was driving home, one block away. The emotion evoked in me was so powerful I had to pull over and stop because I was crying so hard. Every time I hear it, I remember that first time….
Lots of love for the compilation! However, I found it to be sorely missing 1. Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saens, and 2. In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg. With these two the list would be COMPLETE.

It was really quite the pleasant stroll and, with the swaying trees silhouetted against the dark sky, it was very sinister too. Just curious if you have looked into the operating expenses of Save the Children. Their CEO makes over half a million per year, but that supposedly is less than 10% of their expenses so where does it all go? Might I suggest the Salvation Army is a very worthy organization with similar goals and far less bloat.

Just curious if you have looked into the operating expenses of Save the Children. Their CEO makes over half a million per year, but that supposedly is less than 10% of their expenses so where does it all go? Might I suggest the Salvation Army is a very worthy organization with similar goals and far less bloat.
