Yes, I don't ride too much road. However, the light angle does seem a bit high even with the light adjusted all the way down. Also the fact that there is no hi/low, just on or off. I guess it's better to been seen though when riding on the road.
Thanks for showing your setup! Question: is that the stock seat? I've bought the 2020 one a few weeks back and it has an aftermarket saddle on it. Have to stop every 45 minutes on-road because of pains. So I'm looking out for a different saddle. If you have any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear them 😀
Thanks for checking out the video! What I have is the KTM low seat because I'm not the tallest of riders. It has more of a gripper cover which I like. However, I find my self standing a lot and I don't ride too much road so this seat has worked out for me so far. If you are looking into a seat for comfort on longer rides I'd check out Seat Concepts. Everyone I know that has one says they are worth the money.
I run a seat concepts comfort-xl - the extra width is a real ass-saver. That being said, there's a guy who makes custom seats - Fisher Seats - I've wanted to try one; that's probably as good as you can do on a dual sport.
@@mattbillenstein I got a fisher seat and loved it so far, and several say it's far more comfortable for long rides than the seat concepts. However, a couple months ago I went riding in CO for a couple days offroad on an older ktm 450 with a newer enduro engineering seat (or was it a seat cover?). I thought that felt more comfortable for me and my ass than the Fisher, which I love and is of very high quality. I didn't have the fisher guy make one custom for me like he wants, I got mine on ebay due to a long wait time from fisher for new seats.
Nice setup, learned quite a bit. Hope it’s okay to share our 2023 KTM 500 EXC-F setup: czcams.com/video/r4Xt4rycLuI/video.htmlsi=I6B7oIlVOn1uMcBy (We’ve got two buildout episodes before this one, and another upcoming two-parter on the Taco Moto setup!) Cheers, Lisa and Jase 🙏🫶👩🏻🦰 🇬🇧
Nice review!! This bike is SICK!! Brapp
I love this thing!!!
Nice set up
Thanks for the video. I’ll have to look into those tusk bags. I have the same year in the Husky version.
They have been a good bag at a good value!
Nice! How would you connect or mount a Garmin xt for example?
Interesting pronunciation of Acerbis.
In Australia we say it exactly the way it looks
A-cer- bis
🤷♂️
Can you please show a vid of the process you have to do to fill up with fuel? Looking at a similar set up and trying to decide how I’d like it
I'm always happy to do a video! Can you tell me a little more of what you would like to see?
Thanks
do you run the VSL headlight on the road? Just curious as it seems to point very high on my bike and perhaps overly bright for road use.

What about the fender eliminator kit? Which one did you use?
I went with the Tacomoto Tidy Tail. Very sleek, installs easy, and works great! It's very nice to get rid of the huge tail light/turn signal assembly.
