@@lordnermal5437 i mean even from their character perspectives both lang and marty have history. lang knows marty has a history of getting into trouble when he trusts him, and marty knows lang would throw him aside at the mildest inconvenience based on their history. Even if you disregard all that because it’s a reset nothing has indicated lang would ride of die for marty when it hits the fan. He bought his way in and got met with exactly what he wanted to avoid.

If one person's dumb actions put the whole crew in danger cause of him making a personal decision to fuck over someone. It's not the groups place to defend him. It was not a group decision. It would be 100% different if he got attacked for no reason or he was doing it with the approval of the crew.
