The 2021 was incredibly done well, they need to go into outworld for the sequel so we can see baraaka and the rest. sub zero is coming back as Noob!!! I look forward to that
95 was great. 97 was good. 98 was okay but not near 95 levels. 2011 was ass. 2020, despite how I felt about the film overall, was also great. 2021 was cool in concept, it just could have been done a lot better.

I like the fact with the 1995 movie, they went the extra two miles not just making Scorpion look and sound like he did in the video games, but making him the most intimidating character in the movie.

It would be perfect for Mortal Kombat to have a Zangief-type wrestler, that is, a man who measures more than 2.25 m and weighs more than 100 kilos of heavy muscle, but who is 100% human in his purest and hardest state, no monsters, cyborgs or robots and that all his techniques and combat powers are grappling techniques, breaking bones and strangulation techniques like Zangief from sf and King from tekken ... His design could be inspired by Scott Steiner 'Big Poppa Pum', Hulk Hogan, "Ravishing" Rick Rude or Lex Luger. Pure physical strength, powerful blows, great defense and respectable speed and destructive and brutal grappling techniques. His techniques could be inspired by those of Cesaro, Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit... I always wondered why mk didn't have his own Zangief? And I do know that Kintaro, Goro, Jax, Kano and even Kurtis Stryker have wrestling techniques, Greco-Roman wrestling and grappling techniques in general but those characters are infinitely far from being pure wrestlers... Mk has good characters based on fighters from the real world such as LIU KANG = Bruce Lee, Johnny Cage = Van Damme but it would be perfect if mk had his own Hulk Hogan
I think it was the 1995 one that had the cheesy settings and backgrounds😂 i liked it so much. Mk 2 on the sega genesis was one of the very first games i ever played. My dad showed me that game when i was 7. And ofc he showed me every fatality he knew!
I actually had the opportunity to meet the 1995/1997/1998 actor, Chris Casamassa at a convention earlier this year. He was a really friendly guy and I even got an autograph from him
People honestly shit on the 2021 mk movie to much, it’s really not a bad movie, Cole young shouldn’t have been the main character yes but it didn’t tear the whole movie down, it was still a good movie in my opinion, although they do talk about the tournament a lot and it never happened which is weird, but still I’d argue it’s better than 1995
