Near the end, he finds the video tape confirming his memorys. I don't know about the ending tho 😅 Edit: end the end he either escapes the cult or gets killed
That's actually kinda what no sleep is for, it's a good way for horror authors to possibly get some review on their stories to try to get into the field

So I watched the whole thing, and basically, the village or whatever are very like… weird I guess, they do rituals and stuff, I think that they’re in a cult, but they believe in Greek gods, julius, who is the mc, y’kno the storyteller, says he wanted to know more about his parents so when he found a dvd labelled “ceremony” he wanted to watch it, his parents don’t talk about what they where like before he was born so he wanted to be more connected to them, so he watched the old recording and he finds out this, they needed a sacrifice and the kids parent’s chose him, when he was like 8 he was forced to drink some random shit, then I think it like made he fall asleep, and while he was motionless they put him on a pedistle and slit his throat, the whole village watched with random masks on, one of the men whom slit his throat said “now our sacrifice had been done!” Then he blabbers about something else and then he says “if the boy resurrects then he will give us a blessing and fortune for the next years” and basically what it is, everyone looks at him sadly and smiling because he died and he is the one that like had given them fortune and shit, if you don’t believe me watch the full video yourself! :)
So glad this is fiction… but umm if something anywhere close to this happens to anyone, if they’ve got the tape, take it to a police station 2 towns over at least to report it
