Its time to get some head start building of the new improved loft in actions, i am starting to work on the pigeon trap / entrance / aviary side of things so when we move the loft we can screw this right on!

Curious why you don’t just build a new housing for that grey flooring? Then given that green loft to the high flyers.
Where did you get the flooring material from?
Just build a 20x40 with section so you save on cost and labor.
Hopefully floor would be lifted off the ground floor so you can clean under loft . or droppings feed will accumulate . will attract rodents ... and smell when moist ... 🐤

Thanks for the new flooring idea! Pigeons looks real happy. BTW, you mentioned finding a great choice for their food. Can you share with us what that mix is? Brand name? I would love to try it out. My pigeons are very picky!!! Spoiled as well. 😄 Thank you for sharing.

@@ManeyPigeons Yes everything u have done has ALWAY's worked out well, but as u no there's still alot to do, TRYING to learn more about the bird's, I no ur still waiting on ur racing rings but u should try get on to the club just so I'll have ur YOUNGSTER's in the right rings, it happened to me going back a few years ago, but u can't race the birds as YOUNGSTER's with 2020 rings on them, 👍🇮🇪 DUBLIN 🇮🇪

Looks good, but is the loft going to be big enough to house all new YBS as well as your existing birds?
I can fit 60 in the loft i have now so the extra room should be enough to sort them and extra perches 🤞

Good start. Please do not neglect high flyers. How many total pigeons in the coop loft now? breeding going on still?
just because you dont see the videos does not mean they are being neglected just not much going on there to film, they are trying to breed but im taking eggs away there is enough in there for now :) but keen to soon build them a cage maybe like this!
But train the young ones by keeping them in cages on the roof of the loft to map the topography of your property. That can be done....

I got it from local supplier it is called Fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) grating made for industrial use, you can get better sizes and shapes but it needs to be ordered in. great stuff

If u ever think of breeding the blue bar pied from VDB pair him with the tiger grizzle baby or snows daughter
yes i think he will do one round with snows daughter soon need to test her babies and he will be best fit for breeding

I got them from bunnings they have an inbuilt battery just good if i need to go out an night atleast im not tripping over ect 😆 its a all in one unit
