Her pen game is immaculate, her voice is unmatched but her sales are lackluster. She’s underrated because people see a plus size Black Queen with an amazing voice and executives don’t know what to do with it. There should be no reason why Jazmine, Fantasia, Jennifer, and Chrisette aren’t some of the best selling girls in R&B this generation. They could have easily picked up where Mary J, Toni, Janet, and Brandy left off in the 90’s & early 2000’s.
