I cant believe that Steve's resource mining is dependent on where he could be standing in any given stage. In the same way that they have to make sure to take Kirby's copy ability into effect with every fighter, they now have to remember to keep Steve in mind for every stage they develop.
True but there is likely only going to be the four more we're getting.
Imagine having a checklist whenever they add a new stage, just like: Ledges, grab points, platforms, background, steve mining.
I don't think any material of stage is unbalanced to be honest, they said the resources show up in a predetermined order, so I don't think it actually matters what you make a stage out of as far as Steve's concerned, it'll be extra data for each new stage tho

Honestly, pretty sure eating the steak is a greater disrespect move. and even comes default in the Final Smash. Though, on the other hand, the need to gather materials whenever you have free time means serious players might not taught as often.

Steve is incredible because he's his own counter. His offstage game is incredible, but also his recovery is easily gimpable. He's fairly short range but also campy.

Getting back double jump seems necessary for recovery given how short his jumps are. Making the blocks also leaves the character open to edge guards.
