This takes me back to waking up on Christmas in the 80s and opening my new NES. Very cool man. Enjoy it!
Saved my paper route money and bought an NES and a color TV in the late 80s. Most exciting moment in my life. Last time I was truly happy.
i still have mine. works so so. but i love the nes classic. i put almost 800 nes games on it and maybe one day ill play it.
bringing games to the Nes Classic is very easy
I'm crying. my dad gave me that nintendo when I was about 5 or 6 years old around 93 or 94. I still remember when I opened the box, very happy I was... 😢😢
It was probably in someone’s basement. The plastic bag to the controllers are original. I remember. My cousins got one in 1991, and I still remember their unboxing. It was CLEAR as day!❤️
My dad still has his and I play super Mario on it sometimes
Same
We get it you’re rich
I’m thinking of buying one for my mom who won’t be able to get out of a chair for almost three months. Surgery. It sucks but this would be a definite lift up.
@@Johnnyfason waaaa?
@@Johnnyfason what if its the same nes from his childhood and he just maintained it very well or he bought from someone who thought it had no value anymore lol
Menards outer package. Seller must be from the midwest.
Yup
Bodega??
Great video was born back in 75 and grew up through the 80's would go back if I could. As for the family on the back of the box it is real, When I got my NES between my mom dad and sister we had a thing every friday game night and we all gathered around our old brown finish big box TV and played NES for several hours while eating some Pizza. Memories I'll cherrish forever.
I still have mine and it’s setup in my game room. Enjoy the endless selection of nes games. Then enjoy rage quitting because so many are ridiculously difficult lol
Then you ponder the modern conveniences such as save states on emulators.
@@OwnD1 agreed tmnt nes version is way too hard only way to beat it is with a emulator 😊
Practice, practice, practice.
Wish i got one
I think they are hard like that, is because of renting. It would take longer to beat, so you wouldn't get to the end before you buy it
i can still remmember our late uncle gifted us this exact NES w/ the zapper during his vacation in the Philippines year 1990..Lots of good memories with my siblings playing Mario, Duck Hunt, Excite bike, Top Gun, Double Dribble and After Burner.
You know you made it when you can buy something that your parents could not afford to buy you as a child. Sweeet!!!
Strongly recommend you check out local retro game stores (assuming theyre open and safe). Not only can they often have some better deals than eBay and offer you a chance to look at/test games but walking around them is an absolute blast for retro game addicts.
The Christmas that I finally got an NES was my most exciting Christmas in my life. I remember it like it was yesterday... I was in 5th grade.
The zapper mine came with was all grey, it did not have any orange on it. I think they switched up the color of the zapper after a year or so but not sure.
Absolutely loved this thing, could not stop playing it. Ended up with over 30 games at least.
Now my ps5 and gaming PC are my babies lol.
That's cool, I already unboxed ours Christmas 88....lol
Dude, the NES is 💥. My cousin had one of the original Super Mario. It gives that sweet nostalgia and just the video made me smile and it touched me.
I wanted this but I didn't know it, thanks Seth!
Sameee, but I had the snes
Super nintendo?
Alright ko ko 😂
Me too I have all 3 Mario bros games for the nes my favorite one is super Mario bros 2🙃
@@mikesilva3868 Lost levels or USA?
This is how I felt when I opened mine 31 years ago on Christmas Day! I was 8 years old back then! Later that one broke, and I they gave me another one the next Christmas along with a Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3! It already came with Super Mario Bros. And Duck Hunt.
Definitely nailed it. I'm pretty sure I had a much bigger response and emotion when I got my OG Ninten when it came out than the kids of today or when ps1 came out. It was just such a big step up from my atari. It truly was revolutionary for it's time.
Just to remind you the NES and SMB both came out in 85
I got my first one in 1989. And literally heard the super Mario music in my head even when I wasn't playing because I played so much lol.
Dude just took me back to Christmas of 1989
I still remember opening mine for Christmas in 1989!! I was so excited. I still have mine in the original box with all the original paperwork and plastic wrap, etc, that you were unboxing. I've thought about selling it a few times but just can't bring myself to do it!!
Don’t sell it.
Don't do it because it's apart of your childhood and memories so hold on to that
that is amazing! i got my first nes back in 1987 at the tender age of 5. i can still remember the store i was in when we got it and how elated i was at the time. in the 80's this thing was LIFE. but yea like others have said you should definitely keep it for as long as you can. these things are getting harder and harder to find these days
Wow. All the original info sheets and stuff. Id say that’s worth it!!
you khow back in 1988 when i was five me and my brother didn't have the action set we had the power set which came with a cartridge that had three games on it. the game cartridge had the games super mario brothers duck hunt and the game world class track meet and in the box were the two nes controllers the duck hunt zapper which came in grey or orange we had the orange one and the power pad/game mat to jump over the hurdles for the world class track meet. actually technically the cartridge had four games on it because on the duck hunt game there's a game called clay shooting where you shoot at these's pidgeons with the zapper. honestly those things didn't look like pidgeons at all i thought those things were frisbees or flying discs that people through and you had to shoot. i wish i could say that the nintendo entertainment system was the first game system we owned but technically it isn't the first one we owned it's the second because before we owned a nintendo like some people we had an atari.

Legends: NES Unboxing
It's only a family thing on christmas day, the parents like to see their kids explode with joy. After that... Then the kids yell at the games and the parents regret it, hahaha. Then the kids neglect their homework which really pisses parents off.
Nice rockin video seth I appreciate it
Hey where did you order the classic nintendo game console from?
Tomorrow Seth buys all the limited edition DS's
YES
😨
Just got a Nintendo nes 2 months ago from my dads friend. He gave it to me. He gave me a few games too. Super Mario, Super Mario’s 2,3, Tetris, gyromite and a couple more. Ordered an adapter to hook up by hdmi. Played it yesterday. Only thing is with adapter there are some artifacts on screen and some colors are a little off. But other than that I can’t complain. Playing on Sony 75 inch lcd. I actually owned one before and brother still has it. It was a Christmas present when I first came out. Had my 7 yr old son play Mario Bro’s. Awesome experience!
This brings so much good memories 😊
great trip down memory lane thanks
"What's in the BOXXXXX???" Oh right, a Nintendo
-Brad Pitt
Love the classics,I own 2 NES consoles and 15 classic games myself
that number still calls to Nintendo, nice.
is this brand new ???? or new old stock? where did u get it from? thanks.
Awesome ass video. I do own an NES via the Classic Edition because I love retro gaming. Hopefully you could do an unboxing for LJN Video Art. lol
This review is making me want to bust out my PS1 which somehow still works perfectly 20 years later lol
Unboxing starts at 6:25
You’re welcome
This was a great unboxing video. Thank you . i so love this. I just ordered my super Nintendo system. Love this.😄😄😄😄😄🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖💖💖💖
Sends me back to 1990s tijuana mexico when I opened mine it was the greatest thing for me back then ,can't forget the Zelda games and ,don't remember if i got all those manuals though,,,great times ,, ,, great video !!!
This was quite entertaining i like your style of unboxing, please consider maybe additional overhead view when unpacking, that would be nice. Other than that a really nice video....took me back into the 90's (btw born in '92 as well)
that's so cool
I love classic things
love from all
That something else you mentioned was a rf fork adapter for poor kids (me) with older TVs that didn't have the screw in RF.
Great Video!
Well for Me: I'm Thinking to go Buy My Sega Master System in this Soon.
I would pay to smell the unboxing.
You gotta blow into the game cartridge slots to get them to work!!
Nope it was just all about the angle
Stfu
Or jam another game in over it
With being 42 years old i got mine back in the late 80’s but it had broke and i haven’t gotten another one since the late 2000 and i still got it. I’m not sure if it still work since i haven’t played it for over 8 years, and the first came with a gray zapper instead of a red zapper
How to buy this ??
Iirc, the zapper only works on crt tv..
I unboxed this when internet didnt exist 😎 still regret it when I sold it years later. You should keep this one...it will become much more valuable in the years to come.
9:30 I love how he doesn’t know what a composite cable is
Where do i buy one?
Any link for the product?
You Are the Best CZcamsr EVER!
I'm a Gen z, born in 2010. I love Classic Games. My Dad had an Nes which unfortunately got destroyed. But I saved up enough to get the NES Classic Edition console. And I play it all the time,
Oh man couple of a year ago when i help my childhood friend clean his mom house we found his nes box and it's brings back memories of our childhood playing the thing every day after school, sadly we can't find the system only the box and all of the paper and styrofoam, but we found his sega mega drive but no box, it's in really bad condition tho
Man I was really hoping for an image of the way it was packed in the Styrofoam
My dad had one as a kid and still has it and I play it even though I have a ps5
3:58 is when he opens it if you didn’t want to wait
Great vid! can say that that is a time capsule! 💕 #NES
you will need a crt to use the zapper as the sensors wont work on modern tvs so just buy a crt instead of rf adapter
Actually I prefer the smaller version because that one is slightly better because it's a remastered version to the old one from 1989
I got this for Christmas and it was my first console.
I play this og Nintendo all the time with my wife. Have some drinks and rock super mario 3. Google the secret cards and you can cruise even faster
You mean whistles
Somebody pieced it together as you said. That console is from the 1992 NES Challenge Set, which you can tell from the red sticker on the bottom (none of the other NES consoles have that sticker). The rest of the stuff seems to be from the 1989 NES Action Set. The av cable and Zapper seem to be unused.
All hail king of consoles is here
So what's about the ps2 you bought?
Will we ever get Part 2?
Nice. For the condition of the set, it was well worth it. Wished I have the money I have when I was a kid and buy multiple of these and leave them un-open.
Alright, that's cool and all, but did you get the golden Nintendo World Championship 1990 game cartridge to play on your new freshly opened Nintendo Entertainment System?
I'm 13, and I have and love an NES classic edition. But I kind of want this, so I can feel like an 80s kid
You should’ve done it when you could play it on your tv so we can watch you play a little bit I was excited to see duck hunting
The solid grey Zapper gun is more rare and luckily I kept mine mint. Don't forget ROB... That is one set I wish I would of never sold.
Didnt expect to see u on this side of youtube lol what up
It's a very good system I bought one for $110.68 and bought a 72 reader for it and have enjoyed ever since then I'm a very big gamer not much for the newer games but that is a great game system I got the same set.
my grandparents at have this exact set, minus the box
Weird. My cousins had theirs on a projection TV and there was never a problem
The zapper originally looked more like a real gun but they knew that would’ve be a good idea in the US
NES was modeled on a VCR because they were popular then. But the front load design wore on the cartridge pins. I kinda like the original Famicom version
how much was this system?
My kids Wii U is in the basement now hopefully that will be appreciated one day
Sombody whats to sell one of this
Good morning Seth
I got mine in '90, I was 10 years old and it was exactly like what you opened with all the same stuff, still remember the smell when I opened it..
Price tag on the corner was $99.99 plus tax!
Mine didn’t come with a poster :(
I remember my brain exploding when I saw my Mom got me one!.....I'll never forget the smell of opening the box. I probably can't even smell those smells anymore
My first console. Littlle peroxide hair mix on the yellowed side and sit it in direct sun for say 5 or 6 hours should be sorted
I bought my nes with 2 controllers and a zapper for 30 bucks in January of 2020
Christmas of 1988 with Mario bros 2😁
Man i got into collecting retro games around 20 years back when my uncle was dragging me around to flea markets. Its pretty insane how much this stuff has shot up. Back then it was a every day thing to find a box of 20 games for 5 bucks. Absolutely NO ONE was buying this stuff. I was finding it everywhere, garage sales, thrift stores, even game stop sold the stuff back then. At one time I had over 15 copies of Mike Tysons punch out. Sadly I sold off everything to free up space in a move. I really wish I had it all now! Getting into retro games right now is crazy expensive! If you want to play retro Nintendo get a nes classic and hack that. Nothing beats the original though.
😀 Awesome unboxing. 🙂 The zapper, won't work on modern flat screen TVs. 🙂 They will only work on CRT TVs. (Incase you didn't know)
I'm going to project you've got to open up this Super Nintendo eventually I didn't know it did happen
yes it is what I am from 1984 and in 1985 it was on the market so we were there early and even in the 1990 you found something so but now I still have that with a lot of games and I only have a retron also bought. but also knows how to restore the nes
and also how to change something with a switch and play games from other regions and much more
I want one again!!
NES was Created in 1983 in Japan in 1985 in America
I Still Have My 1985 Nintendo And it Still Works Fine 2020 Canada 🇨🇦
Lol Seth wore the same shirt in the ps2 unboxing
I'm in Canada, I think we got ours in 89 too. So when I was 10. Give or take.
Love the nes system I remember playing abadox for the nes when I was 7 in 1991 it was the best shooter I ever played I still have mine not sure if it still works got about 25 nes games 🙃
so cool
The zapper and the controller are generally pretty cheap in mint condition. Since it seems you play on using it and not displaying I think you spent way to much. Just wait until you get into the entire PVM CRT thing
Nostalgia 😂😂
you can order things yourself on aliexpres if there is something. and, parts and games
I would buy a old tube tv if I were you, so you can play things like Duck Hunt.
