Good luck to you, Ian. I'm a 69-year old and I've had COPD for about 10 years now. Only still here, I believe, because I exercise. I'm still gardening, take the dog for four walks every day, cook all my own meals, etc, etc. Every day is a struggle but exercise definitely make sit much better.

I’m nearly 64 yrs and am going through a bad patch with this, I stopped smoking just over a year ago when I got pneumonia. Up until that day I worked hard in our large garden and was strong. I always thought I’d stop smoking if I got sick. This disease snuck up on me so fast. Mentally I’m at a low. Never been inactive in my life until now, all I do all day now is cough even though I have medicine. If not for my wife and sons I couldn’t live with this. It’s hard to keep going.

4 years ago I was diagnosed with CORONARY HEART DISEASE and I have tried everything I could to get rid of this , but it was all to no avail, until I saw a post on a health forum about an herbalist preparing herbal medicines to cure everything type of diseases. including CORONARY HEART DISEASE , at first I doubted it was real, but decided to give it a try, when I contacted this herbalist through his email and he prepared me a herbal cure for CORONARY HEART DISEASE and sent it to me via the delivery service of UPS from the company, when I received this herbal cure. , gave me step by step instructions on how to apply it, when I applied it according to the instructions I was totally cured of this deadly disease within 1 months of use, I am now totally free from CORONARY HEART DISEASE , all thanks to Dr. Joshua Ighalo for helping me with my situation. Try breathe training like how surfers do it. It might help. inhale and exhale 3 deep breathes and one the last exhale hold your breathe and it will cause your body to go into a adaptive state and help your body become more used to low oxygen and increase your body oxygen carrying capacity, Try it first sitting down and just moving your arms and legs up and down. do it for 30 seconds to start with or 3 - 5 times and slowly build up[ to higher and higher reps

All very best wishes Ian & Judy, keep going together and being each other’s rock. I thoroughly agree about Pulmonary Rehab, I pushed hard for my Dr to refer me, finally she did and it’s been wonderful for my husband and myself. The speeches each week about all that’s concerned with it was an immense help to us both as my Dr told me absolutely nothing! I now exercise every day as both walking.
I always talk out my worries and concerns to my husband, he’s a gem.
Take care and hugs to you both 😊

I'm in same situation!!... I feel like I'm watching my nearly 52 year old husband die... He's also an alcoholic and he's between stages 3 and 4 there also. He won't stop smoking cigarettes or weed. He won't stop drinking beer.... I get very frustrated and angry and find support from other women friends and online and through prayer....
At the same time, my 83 year old dad is dying, too, gradually, from diabetes all the complications from it, particularly kidney failure.... Dad smoked till I was 10. He was 40 when he quit. Never smoked again. He quit drinking sometime before that. He has a gambling habit with poker machines and lottery cards till Mom took his truck keys back in November... Such a wasted life... He DID get saved, though, in November! And he was baptized on my birthday last November!! What a present!!!!!!
My ex husband and kids' dad is 59. He has a brain shunt that has malfunctioned twice in less than 18 months. He's getting slow physically and a bit more mentally as well. He does speak or move as quickly... Seems 10 years older than what he is biologically....
My 80 year old Mom, my single childless 27 year old son and I are trying to hold things together. It's challenging. I have no income outside of the $40 from my parents each week. It's tough.
