Nah the water stays the same, the air won't be as hot for sure and evening stroll won't be impossible due to hordes of tourists clogging the town, and the prices will be a bit lower too out of the main season. It is a perfect time to enjoy the city, i lived abd worked there for four years, the summer was impossible, my gf lived in kale larga, still lives there, the main street in the old town, getting there in the evening with my bike was a torture, i had to go arround thru the small streets. Anyways the water stays warm till mid october at least, but when you're out of it you need to dry yourself with a towel, but because the air is colder and the sea stays the same when in the sea you have the feeling it's warmer than in the midst of summer, it's a lot like the night swimming in the summer.
