Itis Shopping Mall - Helsinki

Itis shopping mall (formerly Itäkeskus), the oldest and among the largest malls in the Helsinki region, is located in the eastern part of Helsinki. The first phase of the shopping center was opened in 1984 and was gradually expanded to encompass approx. 80 000 m2 of gross leasable retail space. The current upgradation/renovation of the mall is expected to be completed in 2024.
The mall is easily accessible by public transport incl. by metro rail from Espoo and central Helsinki (a 15 min ride from the central railway station). Various bus routes also converge at Itäkeskus in addition to the recently commissioned "Jokeri" light rail line which extends from Itäkeskus to Keilaniemi in adjacent Espoo.
