Your favorite fight scenes are on point. We have at least 50% of the same favorites. To me I really think that Jackie vs Bradley is the greatest fight scene ever. RIP Bradley, he died a few months ago.

Nothing scarier than Jackie Chan smiling when you're kicking his ass.

Brilliant compilation! Some fine choices in there. Think I need to go track down a copy of City Hunter again, loved that film!

Thanks for the Martial Arts lists, mostly discovered Jackie Chan movies at the late 90's Did some back tracking throughout the years, But never been a fan of the 70's till mid 80's Martial Arts movies.
Mostly due to the weird camera work, they really didn't know yet how to film Martial Arts movies in those days. Sure Bruce Lee made it popular but even they didn't know yet. After mid 80's its genre really got into the groove. And I think Jackie Chan movies are a great example of that, even his movies really start to hit it off during those times. And now I've discovered some new titles to track down.
But regarding this I might be to much of a critic, but then again Martial Arts movies have become very rare.
And as for Drunken fist the closest is probably Rock Lee from Naruto but think that was based on one of Chan's Drunken fights. But that fight never got a proper sequel.

Oh and agreed, Jackie's Drunken Fist is unrivalled!!

These top 10's have been fantastic. Happy to see Hard Boiled in there as I love me some stylish, high octane gunplay and explosions. Look forward to the 2000's top 10. You may need to broaden it from solely Hong Kong in the future. Take care, buddy👍👊💪 and subbed.

Lovin this series so far. Can't wait for the 2000's edition. Also, could you adjust the volume for the clips next time because sometimes the fight scenes are so quiet that I have to raise the volume then lower it down again during your commentary. And as for the best on-screen performer of Drunken Fist, I'm going to be a troll and say it's Simon Pegg from the bar fight in The World's End (though there actually is some simpler Drunken Kung Fu used as it is unsurprisingly choreographed by the late Brad Allan).

I enjoyed your selection of fight scenes, well done to you. I couldn't your choice only because there are 'SO MANY GREAT OF THEM.'
Keep going, and some point you'll have to review the worst selection too? As we all know there's loads of them too!
All the best and keep-up the good work.
    From 'South London.'

My favorite Mark D movie is Only The Strong, mainly because it is one of the only movies to feature Capoeira, and it did so prominently.

Yes and no. Jackie is definately a master at it. he has the style and power and the expression. But one of my favourite Drunken fist moments was Wong Fei Hung by Jet Li, his style was in a sense merciless

I’m just putting it out there. If you do one of these for the 2000s, and it doesn’t include Donnie Yen facing 10 guys from Ip Man (2008), it would be a travesty. All kidding aside, I have loved these top 10s, even saw some new scenes.

Hi I am looking for a 90s Hong Kong Movie title I think.. It's a Van Damme Kickboxer clone with a twist. About a Kung Fu exponent who moved to Thailand and has to learn Muay Thai and got to mixed the two Martial Art to survive in Thailand. I hope you can help me..

This is where I think I'll disagree (judging by the thumbnail), I've never rated Jet Li, he's been doubled so much over the course of his career (of course, even action star is doubled to a greater or lesser extent) but with him I've always found it distracting and he's never really impressed me. Anyway, time to watch the vid. My most "controversial" opinion beyond that, I'm not a fan of DM2 - Lau Kar Leung is awesome in it, Ti Lung is wasted, Anita Mui is hilarious (RIP) but I wish Jackie had listened to his elder, I've heard a few stories of what went down on set. Apparently Jackie was upset that Lau caused him to lose face by simply asking him to perform classical Southern Fist techniques, rather than taking the advice of this legendary martial artist, choreographer and director, Chan took exception hence their major disagreements and Lau leaving the set. Given a choice I'd rather watch Dance Of The Drunken Mantis (Yuen Woo Ping's official DM sequel) or even World of Drunken Master (which is pretty damn fantastic, the Long brothers - Jack & Mark were very talented). Supposedly, Lau and Chan had shot a classic - Southern Fist/Northern Leg finale for DM2, I'd be intrigued to see it but I suspect it's lost to the annals of time, shame.
