Gwen is a stay-at-home mom who takes care of her sick son. But one day, her life would be turned upside down. A mysterious rich man promised her money for her kid’s treatment if she would take part in his “trial”. Gwen thought the millionaire was doing it for “fun” and hesitated to accept.
But once he paid her some cash in advance, she jumped at the chance to save her son’s life. So, at midnight, she headed to meet the mogul at a cemetery.

I understand that Alex is hurt and very angry at his mother but holding an old grudge against her and taking revenge by making her go through these crazy trials isn't the answer to his own problem. What Alex should have done is just find his mother and learn the entire truth to why she had to abandon him when he was a baby in the first place while at the same time telling his mother how he feels in order to put the past behind him .

Her son really did want revenge, but that wasn’t the answer. You really should’ve just talked it out with your mom. That is better than taking revenge. When you get it you may realize that’s not what you wanted, but now it’s too late.

I think Alex did the right thing, because it was the best method to show his pain. Sometimes you need to feel others pain to truly understand them.
And you saw the mothers response she wasn't angry about it rather she saw it as karma. I think alex true goal was to see if she still loved her after putting her true aĺl those traumatic tests.😊
