Exeter City have had an interesting history. I support Aberdeen, Ross County and Inverness CT. I request the English football system help Scottish football, Irish Football and Welsh football. I would like to see cross border Pan Great Britain and Ireland cups. But I do not want to merge the Scottish, English, and Welsh Leagues. What I want is cross border cups between the Scottish, Welsh, Irish and English club sides on top of domestic league, domestic cups, and EUropean soccer. The Scots have allowed English, Welsh, and Irish sides in the Scottish Challenge Cup. So UEFA would be groovy about cross border trophies. Ideas like inviting all Scottish Premier sides who have not qualified for Europe, and selected Welsh Premier sides into the Football League Trophy. Or inviting Welsh Premier and South Scots sides into the English FA Trophy. Or cross border cups from the EPL and Scottish Premier, and Welsh Premier sides. I do not want to merge our Leagues as that would destroy our football history, and identity. I don't want to decrease the number of European places Great Britain and Ireland has. Plus the best of both worlds is where we need to be. Where we have cross border cups on top of European and domestic football. If the English want to help Celtic soccer then have Pan-Great Britain cups on top of domestic and European competition soccer. Do not destroy our leagues. Please help to make our leagues better. So we have 5 strong leagues, in Great Britain and Ireland. Imagine games like Aberdeen v Wrexham, Crusaders V Raith Rovers, Exeter City v Berwick Rangers, Dundee United V Motherwell, Queen of the South v Charlton Athletic, Luton Town v Inverness CT, Ross County v Newport County, Coventry City v Holywell Town, Peterhead v Chester City and Cork City v Huddersfield Town.
With calls to scrap the EFL Cup it would be a much more enjoyable replacement to have an Anglo/Scottish/Irish cup instead. In England and Scotland it would be good to have the EFL trophy and Scottish Challenge cup mixed. Id rather have Queen’s Park or east Fife away. Then seeing arsenal or Southampton u21. Away days to the likes of Bohemians and cork city would be quite the trip as well.
I think it’s a fantastic idea with one further tweak… We should separate Welsh teams into a Welsh league for this competition as it wouldn’t be fair that they’d drag English clubs down.
Ha ha the dump comment, too true, a few faces on there believe me(not the youngsters) from the old days, good job Plymouth were hiding they would have had a proper hiding,
@@bouncerclaws996 we play the SCUM this season and already we are in grips of terror.....this vid has convinced me that the best course of action is to get out of the country until we get promoted this season ... 40 miles away is the scum and they dont even fill the away end ....
