I like how the sparkles in mikus eyes appear once again before her eyes turn black, it’s like she wasn’t even trying to fight back
heres like a few things things i noticed:
after miku went insane and all that, her head seemed to be more lopsided and tilted than at the begining of the song (i think it might symbolize her insanity)
at 4:00 teto was only sweating because she knew that she was next.
at 3:10 shes eyeing miku for that whole part, almost as she knows that miku is gonna go bonkers, but isnt sure
at 3:23, teto stops bouncing for a second and looks shocked. she was probably hoping that miku wouldnt go bonkers bc that means she would go crazy shortly after.
at 2:49, as teto's eyes squint they go black, just the same as miku's hypnotized eyes. i think thats a hint that shows that teto is gonna get mezmerized/hypnotized in the end.

I think miku's head being tilted at a "cracked" angle symbolizes she hung herself after going crazy. She has a black choker on, which contrasts the aesthetic of the rest of her outfit. Additionally, after she goes crazy, her eyes go black (showing no life) and her tongue is always out, which is typically used in fiction to show when somebody is dead. Another thing is, some of the positions she makes after going crazy are humanly impossible without causing severe damage to your body.

The reason why her head was like that was because this is signs of being hung, her neck seems broken, her tounge is sticking out of her mouth, and her eyes seem dead, plus, it's like someone is controlling her because if she was hung, she wouldn't be able to move, also I think the reason why teto stood longer was because she is older than miku, miku being 16 and teto being 31
I think they added the confetti to hide the fact that at the end teto gives in.

One thing I noticed is that after the hypnosis, teto stops sending help signals and has more bleak lyrics
another thing that i noticed, is that in the “Even if fall into a sweet trap, CAN BE SAVED?!” part Teto is more energetic to get this “ULTIMATE ESCAPE!” since she’s been resisting the hypnosis for several days. when she has her arms all the way up, she looks more excited to get out.
meanwhile with Miku, she looks less excited and energetic to escape bc maybe she wants to give in to the hypnosis and that’s why her arms are by her shoulders. this can also be Teto trying to convince Miku to not give in.

take a look at the shoes. miku has rollerskates while teto has normal shoes. rollerskates are known for rolling around, obviously. though, you can fall easily. i think this is a metaphor for miku being more prone to being hypnotized while teto is more stable.
also, take a look at 2:56, miku dances quite normally until 3:05 where her movements are more puppet like. the confetti may represent how much hypnosis they have or smtn.
i personally think that the rhythm of mikus dancing has to do with the music/beat, but the shoes one is interesting!

There are some things I noticed too:
1. After Miku goes crazy due to hypnosis, the subtitles in the part where Miku sings have meaningless words/characters. But Teto's subtitles are the same and decent.
2. I don't know why this is, but before Miku goes crazy, the subtitle's font is a cartoony, childish font. (Same as Teto) But when Miku goes crazy due to hypnosis, the font changes to a more formal, classic font. But Teto's font is still the same.
3. I think this one that I noticed is more important than the others. In the hypnosis section before Miku goes crazy, Miku "shuts down" at the end. Teto is supposed to say the same words, but when Teto reaches the "shut down" part, she is interrupted and later, in the green-screen part, Teto covers his mouth. So Teto hasn't been hypnotized yet.
The things I noticed may be unnecessary ones, but I wanted to share them anyway. :)

I dunno. To me this is just a song about tiktok/youtube shorts. All the video is done with mini screens in portrait mode, the whole animation was done by someone who only uploads in the shorts format, and most of the visual cues like the focus point, the word guessing game, the random english subtitles, the oversaturated color palette, the dancing and the confetti are used in popular easy to consume shorts videos. It's talking about how people watch shorts to escape the loneliness, depression and other very real problems of their life (hence why both miku and teto sell it as "the ultimate escape" in the beginning). It's a literal never ending loop of "look at me and forget your problems" which is ultimately not far from actual hypnosis. Miku represents falling deep into media dependency while Teto is generally hesitant which is why all her lyrics reference why you need to submit yourself to end your unrelated suffering. She's not really scared as much as she's too cynical to fall into the hypnosis as easily as Miku. Her cries for help are not about the hypnosis. She wants a real solution for her problems but she ultimately doesn't get it so she resorts to continue the dance on her own accord to finish the hypnosis process anyways.

@@exco6367i like what you did there, it is almost like miku was trying to get attention of some sort this entire time also. in my theory, i think that miku sort of knows that this curse or her being hypnotized is brought up and going to happen to her, but it's almost as if she wants it to happen or something? it might have to do with taking over, and you can see that she knows based on the earlier lyrics miku and teto were discussing in like the beginning of the video.
and what's really darker, is that based on how teto is trying to prevent this, it looks like the hypnotizing has happened more than once. maybe like a loop, because of how it's day and night again. they're living in a circle.
it's really hard to try and analyze the lyrics, even when you have the translation in English, it's still sort of confusing, and it's also kind of written poetic.

I also realized something, might not be accurate, but notice how the yellow badge things on their chest. Miku has it on the right side, while Teto has it on the left. Probably symbolizing the logical left brain (teto) trying to convince the emotional right brain (miku), sort of like an internal conflict, but instead of succeeding, the left brain also falls for the hypnotising.

You forgot to mention the moves of miku on 3:05 are puppetlike which means the hypnosis was taking over but it wasnt very noticeable because of the colorful stuff on the video people didnt notice that and just admired the video and decoration and stuff (also these puppetlike moves are also shown when the hypnosis on miku takes full effect)

what they said is that the coi swinging could allude to the fact that we have to look back and forth to see the person who's currently dancing, but teto wants you to keep your eyes on her because

With all these timestamps, my theory is that something is trying to hypnotize both Teto and Miku. As seen in the video, Teto keeps continuously asking for help, because she’s aware and know what’s going to happen. I also think that SHE is the aware one because at 0:14 Miku starts talking about being unaware, and that being aware is shameful. Teto on the other hand, is kind of saying the opposite thing. 0:24
She also says something along the lines of, "THE ULTIMATE ESCAPE", which could be the escape from being hypnotized/the resistance.
To sum it all up, I think that Teto has been giving out signs for help throughout the video because she knew about the hypnotization, and didn’t want to be hypnotized just like Miku, who was very unaware (And that’s probably the reason why she got hypnotized first unlike Teto).

And just one more thing abaut Teto (when Miku was looking at the hypnosis) she was avoiding the music to escape the hypsnosis

One thing, when teto was staring at miku when she got shocked at mikus crazed side, her eyes get darker just like when she was getting hypnotised, but when she blinked, it went back to normal.
Lovely how I'm a month late, anyways. I realized that Miku's neck changes in size after she gets mesmerized. Not to mention, at the end, she has a purple/blue-ish hue to her face and neck. I feel like Teto and Miku are doing an ad for a place where you can escape to (the mesmerizer), and during the production, Miku hung herself. Notice how Miku also has a collar, which mostly represents the signs of hanging. During the last countdown part, Miku's collar is completely removed. Most likely, the collar was keeping Miku's neck stable, and her mouth, as the deceased cannot control their body parts since the muscles are inactive. At the end, Miku is pale as ever.
So here's my theory summarized for those who want to skip the whole reading part:
Teto and Miku are basically doing an ad for a place for you to escape to, considering they appear in front of a green screen for a second. During the production, Miku hung herself, and her lifeless corpse was turned into a puppet for the director and cast members to control. During the last countdown, Miku's collar came off, which let her neck and mouth be left open. The director saw this and possibly tried putting the collar back on but didn't have time to put Miku's neck and mouth back in place, so at the end, the director hides it all with confetti.
I have no following theory for Teto, but I'm working on it. If I have any updates, I'll edit this comment.

I heard someone said they are actually releasing from the hypnotise so my theory:
Miku was mentally ill so so Teto recommended the hypnotic but Teto went into the hypnotic(Idk why I just thought of it)and the star eyes means they are fully in the hypnotic and a circle means they are slowly getting back to reality and nothing in the eyes means they are IN reality lastly black eyes mean they gone insane and Teto might be scare for miku cause miku had not been in reality so long as the og lyrics goes like “ look too much at reality and you go’ll blind” hitting that miku might suffer so much that she hanged herself like at the end when she becomes a puppet for finish the video but Teto also go insane because she is also not used to reality

I counted Tetó stayed up for 20 or 25 days when she was getting hypnotized but at the end you could see her eyes go black but then snapped out of it but when it was the end of the song you could see she was fully hypnotized
I interpret the symbolism of this song to be something like this:
they talk about unhealthy coping mechanisms to deal with boring life
when Miku gets hypnotized its like she gets "addicted" to said coping mechanism and continues to say the morbid stuff about life's meaning
meanwhile teto resisted the hypnosis meaning she doesn't wanna give in to unhealthy coping mechanisms and talks about how its better to live life in the "boring" way than to be like miku
also miku's behavior after being hypnotized is similar to when someone is hung, she also is the only one wearing a choker
so maybe at the end when teto is hypnotized it symbols that miku died and now teto fell into the trap through grieving

3:04 I've seen someone say that this could mean that the ilusion thing and the background means that the ilusion symbol pretended to not be there, as if it was safe to look at, but, it was there all the time. I've also seen a person say that maybe there was a reason of why Miku and Teto were in danger and that they went to both extremes, Miku going crazy throught escapism and Teto going crazy by the reality they are living on, that's probably why Teto is always askkng for help and trying to resist the hypnosis and Miku just acepting it.
