- In the 1990s, the media dubbed Richard Rogers the "Last Call Killer" because he targeted men in gay bars who were obviously intoxicated.
Forensic Files is the longest-running true crime series in television history. Evidence and interviews with experts help solve real crimes, disease outbreaks and accidents around the world. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
What a soothing voice. RIP Mr. Thomas. (1924-2016) Forensic Files is my “go to” when I can’t sleep. This gentleman was truly gifted. Look him up in Wikipedia. He was an amazing man. He started his career at only 14 years old! Glad we can still enjoy his voice thru re-runs. 🥰🙏
mr thomas is also my night time lullaby sn: did you know that Mr Thomas only did 1 take each show!
He passed away? Wow I didn’t know.
@@kaseyhadd4036 that does not surprise me at all. He was very gifted. 🙏🙂

Totally agree. His voice, his inflexions... No one was close to him. There's other shows about unsolved crimes, medical detectives, etc, but I don't buy Roger Stack or Dennis Whoever. Mr. Thomas was the real deal. DEP.
Tom was a family friend I remember the day he was found in 1992, I went to school with his kids. He was such a kind person. RIP

8:10 "The reaction of anyone who found the body parts was HOLY SHIT!!". I love that the detective thought this was something worth mentioning LOL
I'd probably faint
😂😂😂😂
That would be horrible !
I'm a nurse but I don't think I can handle this.
Imagine how finding the severed head of one of those victims would mess up your mind. You would never really be the same person after seeing something like that.
That composite drawing unfortunately looked more like Michael Jackson circa 1970’s than that nurse they originally suspected from the bar 🤣

Might I suggest EWU (Explore With Us) channel? Raven oa the name of the narrator. Please let me know what you think I have notifications on. He reminds me of Mr. Thomas' voice.

Peter Thomas was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida and had a voice like no other. He did many shows (and commercials) and won several awards. He was one of the best!
being a murderer seems like so much hard work, all that cleaning
And at the end they got caught anyway!
Its amazing to see how filmrise is able to get the lookalike of the victims and killers in each case to reenact...wow
It’s not film rise but MEDSTAR the company responsible for the original content on tv. Filmrise is for youtube
And how quickly the film crew is there, recording and video taping and amazing while the clock ticks away...CRAZY
Really
Yeah when you think about it, there are SO many actors that just get gigs on programs like this, right? I've thought, there are all different types of people on these shows. Fat, thin, all races, blonde, brunette and on and on. There has got to be work out there for any actors in all kinds of situations. You don't necessarily have to be a model, gorgeous, pretty, handsome, whatever, it's not all about how you look as much as, can you act?

Finally, an episode I hadn't watched
Some of what these investigators do is nothing short of miraculous!
I agree!!!
@Lee Rosales I don't know how much you make in construction but a regular police officer make 3200 after taxes(in some citys they make more),but a detective or a homicide investigator make more that 5000 dollar a month
@Lee Rosales well, that's why I said depending in the city that you live, for example I make 22 dollars an hour here in vegas but my coworkers in LA they make 25 starting, and we belong to the same company,I'm pretty sure that varies depending the area or the city where you live, anyway california is unaffordable for a lot of profesional
I started watching Forensic Files some years ago and always LOVED Peter Thomas's fantastic narration. He was so articulate and conveyed his emotion to the story as it unfolded in the most appropriate, professional way. No one will ever be able to replace this gentleman's natural gifts at storytelling. Thank you so much, Mr Thomas for all of your marvelous work! We will miss you always. RIP.❤❤❤❤❤🙏❤❤❤
Was brilliant
it's a gross voice, macabre, befitting the gruesome show. So stop praising show voices; rather, exercise your own voice, stupid
I used to watch the show on other streaming services. The nice thing about that was that there was no comment section filled with 10 page tributes to Peter Thomas on every. single. episode. I'm so sick of it. Just stop. Seriously.
I feel bad for trash collectors and other people who find dead bodies and haven't been through desensitization like cops who at least are given training to deal with traumatic scenes before and after encountering them
Yep, I would be in FULL Haz-Matt clothing. If you hear this man's voice you're in for a good show!!! Other shows have the ROBOT voices that I just hate. Or when somebody says ORANGUTANG instead of ORANGUTAN!!! Blood pressure rising!!!
What training do they give
That's so true. I can't imagine how devastating it would be to just stumble on a dead body.
Omg yes

May God bless our sanitation workers. They are heros. We owe them so much to our health and safety.

Forensic Files. Been looking for new uploads. Thanks.
Me too..I have seen them all..The narrator Peter Thomas passed away in 2016..So I don’t think new episodes could be the same without him
One thing that this episode has taught me: when you buy supplies to use in murder related activities make sure you buy them in a area outside of your residential area.
Buy lots in advance
Ur someone told me lol
I think the message in the Crime Shows is don't murder anyone because you will definitely leave some part of yourself for them to find you i.e. DNA skin cells, finger prints, saliva, etc.
Are don't carry your phone around leave at house 😂😆 if you planning something dumb
All these episodes teach me is that even if you travel outside your residential area, because of forensic science, you can and sometimes will be caught. I'm glad for this advancement to help police catch these evil ass people . I'm 43 and I hate the fact that people have been so evil in this world we live in.
Leave your phone home & cross state lines to use the Home Depot & Walmart for your murder related items . Make sure to wear a hat & have your hair tucked inside. Pay with cash .
R.I.P. Peter Thomas - his voice will never be matched !

@@mangafq8, It got renewed for a third season. You probably can't find it anywhere because of copyright.
"Touch of evil" ... that was a perfect name for this case.👌
I think it's interesting, after watching several true crime videos, how the investigator refers to a suspect who has been zeroed in on but clears bc of the evidence, the detective says it's heartbreaking or tragic. Not really tragic if someone is innocent. It's a blessing.
Yeh I noticed that, too.
@@phlushphish793 🙌🏿
well its tragic because they were so focused on someone and theyve lost valuable time and sometimes put people through stress
im not 100% they meant tragic because they didnt stick someone with a charge.
Also heartbreaking because they thought they were close to solving the case, giving the family closure, and getting a criminal off the streets before he (usually he) can kill again. And then they find out they aren’t close to accomplishing those goals.
I mean, it sucks for the dude who got accused of murder.
“Mr. Rogers claimed self defense and was acquitted. Amazing.” Well, it is his neighbourhood after all.
Having a dummy-friendly appearance helped his self defense case; I wonder how the other guy looked like.
Groan
The garbage guy who discovered the body pieces in the garage can looked just like Ned Flanders
Derrick chauvin
"Hi-Diddily-Ho!"
Sexy flanders
I wonder if there were other victims whose remains ended up being put into garbage trucks, and taken to the landfill undetected.
Sure
There are probably thousands of cases like that. Normally no one looks through the trash.
Most likely.
The skin from a woman’s lower arms were found at a dump. I don’t remember who was the killer. They looked like a pair of elbow length gloves. Very strange.
There was another victim before Thomas Mulachy. His name was Peter Anderson, a banker from Philadelphia. His body was found in a trash can just like the others. He wasn't dismembered, but his *thingy* was cut off and shoved in his mouth.
Idk if anyone noticed this, but if you look at the bloody glove at the beginning, all the finger slots were cut off except for the middle finger slot, basically giving off the middle finger.
10:05 the man they're looking for is obviously 1980s Michael Jackson
Exactly.
Yeah, I agree. This narrator has been the voice of "Crime Investigation" There has been a plethora of shows he's done the "voice over" for. But these videos are really old. One time they said that they mailed them the finger prints? ""MAILED THEM???" And to have to look at all those finger prints, their eyes were so fatigued. Now there's CODIS to do that work. He's the David Attenborough of Crime Drama!!!

Maybe he hated the fact that he was gay and took his anger out of men who he was attracted to.

About the same time when Jeffrey Dahmer was caught and similar wicked mentality!
This one is especially dark
Forensics.......truly amazing!!
Why do we always say dismemberment is a horrible way to die when it’s never the cause of death?
I think they just mean that it's horrible and disrespectful to have that done to their body... it's already bad enough they murdered them. And the family doesn't have a body to bury.
Richard Rogers was acquitted? Shame on the justice system
😲 don't tell me !!!
Claiming self-defense, no witnesses.
Seriously! When you kill someone in self defence, you dont wrap their body in a tent and leave it on the sidewalk
I am very much disturbed by this horrific case.
In my leisure time, I usually watch your video. All the staff is quite talented.
There is no way I could have identified him from either composite sketch
If he had not been acquitted those men would still be alive.
Excellent work by the detectives and scientists.
Killing somebody is a heinous crime, but to dismember your victim makes you a really sick SOB.
Best of the best my bedtime stories thanks for reloading this video's they are very interesting
Rest in peace Mr Peter Thomas.
It’s an excellent forensic files video as always but the comment from the woman stating that washing the bags was “intimate” and “erotic” to the killer is just idiotic. He just wanted to erase evidence.
Bruh if they play that creepy ass piano music while the killer is cleaning the bodies one mo time!
.? At 8:05 , I look down and there they were , a couple of arm's all folded up and neatly , hahaha ; 😂 ever so calm he is .. 😂😂
One of the most gruesome cases. Just horrible. Incredible determined investigators thank goodness.
It's amazing the things they can do to figure things out. Some of these cases where they really don't have anything and still find the killer.
How disrespectful, killing someone then throwing him out with the trash.
It’s sad, the victim was a family friend, his son died very young from cancer. The poor family RIP Tom just horrific
There's so many sick people in this country
Don’t ever call Richard Rogers Mr Rogers again
What's with the piano music everytime the killer washes the victim. Lol
to give it a creepy vibe I think.
Why are most people here bothered by the music? If it creeps you out then stop watching
LOL one of the detectives mentioning how the coroner reported that the victim’s blood alcohol level was above the “legal limit”. What? It’s illegal for someone who isn’t driving to drink alcoholic above some “legal limit”??? 😂😂😂
I've always had the same initial thought but nah. They just use it as a bench mark to give the viewer an idea of exactly how drunk the person was.
It is unwise because it messes up your reasoning center in your frontal lobes 😢
It is documentaries like Forensic Files that have made me more determined to leave a law abiding life. And before any of you call me a self centered jerk I am beyond sympathetic to the victims and their families. Be safe and stay strong everyone.....

It's true. I watched an episode on one police artist whose drawings were surprisingly accurate & effective. She said she gets her informants to relax, almost hypnotizing them.
@@phlushphish793 Many of us wouldn't describe well
Artist impression is hard to be accurate. When you have witness to describe a face of a stranger that u never knew before, and hardly pays that much attention to their face. How can u accurately describe their face? Some of us crossed path hundreds of people per day. I dont know about u, but I dont think I could remember a guy I had a 2 minute conversation yesterday who was asking for directions.

Richard Rogers is still in a New Jersey prison serving his 2 life sentences. He was also believed to have murdered Peter Anderson in 1991 as part of the Last Call Killings and has never been charged with any other murders.
Rogers gets a bad rap.
Fantastic work
This is clearly a case where he should have got the death penalty.
Now he will live the rest of his life at taxpayer's expense, being fed, clothed, housed by the State with all medical expenses paid. What a bargain for a serial killer! No wonder there's so much crime in America. Criminals know if they're caught they'll be well looked after for the rest of their lives.
Exactly. I get so tired of perps getting off from their horrific deeds. People seem to care more about criminals, than they do the victims and their families...
Very true
actually, it is actually cheaper to imprison someone for life than to execute them. In fact, it is almost 10 times cheaper!

Talk about homophobia! In the movie of Elton John, they depicted, probably accurately, that Elton hit on his straight lyricist Bernie, who denied him & brushed it off. One of the most endearing musical relationships to grace this planet!
how sick does a person have to be to kill and then dismember a person, minutes after killing them. How can a person be motivated to do such an act. Just listening to this makes my skin crawl. Thats gotta be real sick. I know they are psychopaths but what in hell motivates them and gives them pleasure/satisfaction in doing such an act. That killer did not look like a serial killer, gosh you just never know!
It's demonic energy. In the Bible, Baal worshippers would cut themselves and even throw babies into fires as a sacrifice to them. They also worshipped Goddesses of war and sex that demanded brutal killings and degenerate sexual acts. They were controlled by their master (Baal/ Satan).
Psychopaths/sociopaths have been studied. They actually have different wiring in their brains. How they think and what they feel is different then ‘normal’ people.
Some are high functioning some are not. They catch the ones who are not. Sometimes they catch the ones who are.
Science debates whether nature or nurture or a mixture of both causes these types of dysfunctions.
We are fascinated by these people 😊because we’re unable to comprehend how they can do the evil that they do.
No dismembering makes sense, how else are you going to hide the body?
There is an episode on Criminal Minds, inspired by this murder event.
8 years!! Wow amazing!!
Anybody that can dismember a body is the worst of the worst evil. Ugh...how disgusting and horrible!
I about any healthy adult can dismember a body. If you can cut a chicken fillet into pieces in the kitchen, you can also dismember a human body.
Actually a human is quite difficult to disarticulate in comparison to a chicken.
First-humans are a tad bigger than chickens. Much more area to work with
Second-the human joint is larger than the chicken. You cannot simply break a human joint with your hands. It takes great pressure and expert use of certain tools to do the required work.
Third-there is a huge mess that comes with taking apart a human body-nothing like a chicken. You should be prepared. Take all needed precautions.
Our loved one was killed in Tower 1 of the World Trade Center. When Tower 1 collapsed, it cut body parts off of him as it was falling and we received some of the parts over the next several years.
It was hideous IMO and I'm glad parents of one of the other victims wanted the killers' remains separated from the victims.
This guy may killed many more...
Yeah he might if they don't catch him he might kill people more people and ruin more lives plus his own cuz he will go to jail and spend life and prison.
True. I agree. It's possible.

Too bad they didn't have this technology in the late 40s maybe they would have caught the black Dalia killer
I've noticed on Crime Shows that when ordinary people stumbles across a dead body they immediately think it's a manequin.
I always hate how they say that his blood alcohol level was above the legal limit as if there is some limit legally. It might be above the legal limit you're allowed for driving a motor vehicle. But you need to say it properly because people begin to believe that there is some legal limit to drinking. A few years ago there was a coworker that thought that there was a legal limit for drinking. I just couldn't believe they thought that
