Your cards are so pretty and inspirational for me. My favorite cards to do are the stitching cards. Using the cotton thread is my favorite floss to work with but I do have a problem with thread except DMC, they fray and I will have to end and waste the thread. I like using the metallics but they fray out more and I have been known to rip the cardstock. Any suggestions?

Also ensure that your card is at least 100lb (c.300gsm) thick so it is sturdy enough to withstand stitching with metallic thread. This type of thread requires the thread to be taut against the card before the next stitch and thus can put a strain on the card.
