I made it , that was absolutely amazing . I was not moving and I waited like 15-25 minutes I don't really now . At a moment a Sleep Paralysis came everywhere in my body . I was knowing that if I think of a bad thing it will begin so I imagined that I was flying and I felt myself flying on my bed . A vortex appeared and took me to a dream . I was awake in my dream . It's was seriously amazing .

count your breathing like when mediating, or count backwards from 100, or a technique they use for astral projection is to imagine a rope and you're climbing that rope, (astral projection is just lucid dreaming really) but ye it is really hard staying mentally awake, lose focuses for a second and you could be done for the night, are you keeping a dream journal? if not it could just be you arent remembering the lucid dreams

Worked for me and lasted a long time if you remained calm. The sleep paralysis park felt unreal it was crazy, I almost woke up but I stayed with and got put into a dream instantly lucid. Then I started flying around outside and running on walls testing more of my capabilities. I've lucid dreamed with many other techniques or just on my own before but this one is a fun one.. definitely try it out. It lasts a long time if you know the techniques to stay and was awesome to actually experience your body and brain jump into a dream consciously.
Also for the beginners out there, I wouldn't recommend trying to do this method straight away. Try more beginner methods to start and learn how to stay in your dream and experiment what you like to do in your dream, it's great

One little trick i use to get into the "meditation" state which isn't actually meditating, but works for dreams is thinking about a little story, like a travel and eventually you will naturally "writing it" and when that happens instead of forcing the story i just follow my mind into any detail it wants to, even if it goes somewhere totally far from the first thing you thought, just follow whatever you brain makes up and eventually you will fall into a dream. Also this usually works for me to "continue" a dream if it gets disrupted by totally awakening by a real sound or anything external.

And then right as I was about to enter a dream state or whatever my sister came in and asked if I was awake. The preceded to navigate around my room making lots of noise to get to my computer and turn off youtube. That kind of ruined it...........
Also this was really easy for me to do and understand, thanks a lot. I have always wanted to lucid dream but I seem to never be able to. +1 sub :D

*I always fall asleep before reaching sleep paralysis.*
As I get more and more relaxed and enter a meditative state, *I get quick hypnagogic experiences, but not full scale hypnagogia or sleep paralysis.*
I'll see an image of something in the blackness of my closed eyes, or hear someone say something. These experiences last up to a few seconds.
The problem is, *when they happen, my mind shuts off completely (I lose consciousness) until I snap out of them and return to my conscious meditative state.*
I always just end up falling asleep in the end. It's so frustrating.

It ended up not working that night, but i ended up having a DILD that night anyways. It was awesome! The dream almost dissolved right away, but I stsrted spinning around and fixed it. Then I went about the dream for a little bit and it ended up randomly dissolving anyways. It wasnt even during an exciting part but it was still awesome! Have you ever tried a Wake Induced Lucid Dream and had it not work and then have a DILD?

im on an anxiety medication called klonozapam or something like that and it makes it where it slows the neurons in your brain preventing active thoughts and thought transition, its also a muscle tranquilizer and prevents twitching. since ive been taking this ive been so interested in doing WILD since it is so much easier now. the past 2 night ive felt that black curtain come over my body and ill tell you that feels wierd as hell but under my medication i dont freak out or feel wierd but i have disturbed that stage twice and woken up from that and when i look around I see a bunch of figures and shapes in my room after turning on the light and then I smile to myself like "damn I was almost there haha". looking forward to it again tonight, decided to take a miligram of medication to keep me perfecectly still. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.

I used the wake to sleep tactic last night. Went to sleep, set my alarm for 3 hours later. I heard my alarm going off in a regular dream and woke up. Turned off my alarm and laid still for a moment. I felt it was extremely easy to fall back asleep so I relaxed, closed my eyes and tried to envision the dream I wanted to enter. It took a few minutes but the shapes started to appear along with colors. But the most distinct thing I noticed were sounds and voices that were clear as day. I kept imagining the dream I wanted to enter and eventually I was lucid. My recall of the dream is foggy, but at least I know it worked. I'm going to try the method in this video tonight and I'll repost tomorrow how it went. Also I did experience slight paralysis before falling asleep the first time. But I started feeling extremely tingly in my lower back and I couldn't fall asleep. Could be from the normal back pain I suffer from because of working out. But we shall see how it goes tonight.

I tried this just a day before seeing the video, was laying in bed on my back and visualizing the dream I want. Then I slowly let my body relax and just let the thoughts pass by. Then my right ear began to hear something like loud breathing. I created a friendly dog character in my mind to explain it. Then some other sounds came to my head like distant talking and I used it to assure myself that I'm coming into the dream I want. Suddenly I felt like I was thrown through space and back at very fast speed and then began to be scared a little although I knew everything would be ok. The uncomfortable feeling was slowly increasing to the point I couldn't just continue lying there. So I turned to my side like I normally sleep. I could still hear the snorting in my right ear through the pillow. I must try it again and this time I'll be successful. :D

@@HowtolucidOfficial Hello again thanks for responding. I've already watched lots of your videos and I love it, you're doing great job. :D
So I tried this technique the other day but couldn't manage to get to paralysis and into a dream so after about half an hour i quit again. But I still somehow managed to have "random" lucid dream in the late morning. In the dream I asked my sister if I could have lucid dreams every night and she said that I should quit this technique lol. So I think I should try some other techniques :D this one is maybe too wild :D
My biggest problem is probably the instability of many of my lucid dreams but it's getting better :D

ChronicAdex it feels so amazingly real. Never underestimate your brain. Your brain makes the most detailed things ever such as the texture on the walls and floors are so realistic and the hair is so realistic It obeys the laws of physics (unless you control it to do otherwise) and each hair strand is as realistic as any hair in irl and the explosions are amazing. When your aware you have a kinda weird felling (I'm not very good at describing it) and you feell many emotions but be aware DO NOT get to excited or you'll wake up (I got to excited in a dream where I met a friend who's been with me since kindergarten but we were separated not long ago and I was so happy to see them again and I was so excited that everything around me started to disappear and I woke up) and to prevent getting to excited make you spin.

But at the same time, the dream was also forming. I was in my cousins bedroom and I realized I was finally lucid dreaming. I knew that If I freaked out, it was bye bye dream. So I remained calm and walked out the door. If anyone is familiar with the show, I suddenly walk into Odd Squad headquarters and look around. Everything seemed so realistic and amazing! I couple of seconds later, however, I lost control of my dream. It was still a vivid dream, but no longer a lucid dream. Next goal, maintaining my dreams!

I know this is an old video, but I highly recommend you advise against saying WILDs can be done at the beginning of sleep cycle.
It is nearly impossible to do it this way, and it just wastes people's time and demotivates newer lucid dreamers. You must be close to an REM cycle to WILD, and until about 4 hours in your REM periods are only minutes long at best. You'll be laying there for hours before you experience anything significant.

If you are religious do what your religious people would do about a demon. Example: Christians have told me that if they say "In the name of Jesus Christ, leave now!" the demons can disappear. Whatever you feel like protects you, think about it.
