awesome video. very nice upgrades. thank you
Great video thanks again
You should add a French Drain to the lower end of the slab, and pipe the water (and melting snow) to past the tree line, or that access road will have a ditch in it.
Cold day here in the Ozarks so I'm catching up on a few of your oldies but goodies I appreciate all the videos you put out Thanks
Just remember monday is only one day of the week, great video guys.
I like hgow you keep everything clean and tidy
Make sure that the spaces between slats are filled with a course sand. That will help support the slats and prevent them from bending when a truck is driving 90° to the slats. That will even help keep the slats upright and in place if they crack. Also allows water to easily drain thru. Farmers are quite creative folks, and the adaptive reuse of this old stinky barn is a great example of this!
That is a good idea, they could also get the fine agreggate that that they use in some concretes. It is a little bit more coarse than sand. It depends on where you live. If you live near any sandstone or limestone, that crushed stone makes a great road surface, it binds well when it gets some rain on it, the fines get just like cement.
WOW!!!! That's the worst Monday so far. Thanks for sharing
Those air valves look like what we use in the sawmill I work at, we use air oilers to help lube all the valves and cylinders. Oilers can also help prevent lines freezing in the winter.
Wednesday was my Monday 5 inches of rain and 5 dumps at the landfill nothing functions with that much rain.
Monday’s. If you know you know! 😁 thanks for the great videos! Have a great safe Labor Day weekend too all at Larson farms !🇺🇸 ✅
The day the Larson’s post a video it is always the first CZcams video I watch for the day. High expectations or maybe a good laugh?
Make it Fall 1” every 10 feet in front of the Small Doors So the Pad dose not hold water that will become Ice!
I could have told you those teflon fifth wheel plates don't work! We used them at work for a few months. We replaced them all the time! There not worth the time and effort! Grease works .
Monday has been my whole week
Today is Thursday (my Sunday) and my back hurts....but I'm getting ready to make myself a cheeseburger, so there's that.
Thanks for asking, Doug'o.
Cool projects - thanks for taking us along. 💪👍🏼
Hello from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming.

man when you guys have a Monday you have a good
Lots and lots of new toys around Larson farms nowadays. 👍🏼
Monday I sat in my fendt 1042 for 12 hours not doing anything. Wasn't enough room on the silage pile for it. So I sat and watched TV all day
Looks like Toby is hitting his stride - seems really happy. The recycling is great - the driveway looks good.
We loved your video Chet!! of course, we loved seeing Toby!! Things are looking good around there!!! Take care!!
I love watching Larson’s there the best farms in youtube for sure

Yes they are loaded ,need something just order it.😁
While you two were blathering at the start Doug was waiting, now dont you forget those examples of patience when he is gone. You need to pass on that to those around you when its your turn to be Dougo
It's nice to see I am not the only one who has Mondays. Does anyone ever have a Monday on other days of the week or just me??
Just want to say thanks. Love the channel
If you have a propane tank on the farm get them to put you in a fill station so you can fill your own small tamks
Thanks Chet… Fun to watch
Mondays and Friday afternoons always go poorly. Glad your all still having fun. I felt bad for dougo and his shower!
It’s all in a day’s work. But all in all they’re all good. We sure enjoy your channel. 👍👍👍❤️
You know the weather is cooling off when Chet wears a shirt with sleeves.

Watching all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦 love the channel
I just finished Monday part 4. Lol

I did landscaping work, and you have to be careful of the water inside the dirt that will be pushing up against your concrete block wall there. you will want to run some tile and some gravel behind the wall so the water can escape without building up pressure and pushing the blocks over!!
Get the concrete Legos and make a bigger stockpile of gravel at the farm.
A full tank on the new forklift will last a really long time, just get a spare tank that you can keep full to swap out with, have them filled or just swap out the empties at a lp gas dealer, it can be a hassle filling those yourself and it's dangerous if something goes wrong
@@agentcrm you shouldn't run diesel in a building
@@bryantkohl1759 you can't switch out diesel tanks.
@@bryantkohl1759 Why? You shouldn't run any engine in a building but what makes the diesel different?
@@chadjustice8560 types of emissions - LP doesn't create PM like diesel... LP doesn't get old either. proper air/fuel mix - lp burns really good, much less risk of Carbon monoxide... You do get less power out of LP so they size all that to accommodate that. Worth having detectors inside for the CO levels if they're used very often/long
They actually don't last as long as most people think
Man I feel Dougo about that shower. Mine did the same thing 3 weeks ago. Started at 4am that day come home at 6 to have to go get a new tap for the shower. Blow torch , solder well ... you know the rest. Coulda made a country song by the end .🤦🤦
Oh yes Mondays. On a 9 to 5er, Monday is when you go back to work to rest up after a wonderfully active weekend! Actually three Fridays ago was why I am watching your Monday on Saturday the 4th.! I experienced a life expectancy of 10 years of a cataract corneal implant coming loose from its Moorings and falling into the vitreous fluid of my right eye. To shorten this up I was to Bismarck and back to Beach two Mondays ago. Then down to the Minnesota Eye consultation in Bloomington two Wednesdays ago and back to Beach then Tuesday of this week after starting eye drops on Sunday my son drove me down for cornea implant replacement surgery at 9:30 in the morning on Wednesday of this week and now I'm back home waiting for the blood to reabsorb from my vitreous fluid so I can see out of my right eye. So you could say that I drove past Millennial farmer and your place about 4 times in the past 2 weeks. The good news is they told me the left eye implant is a little loose and may need the same surgery in the future. Boy, are the Consulting and surgery Institutes in Minneapolis busy. I'm slowly getting my backlog of CZcams channels watched and thumbsed up. Yep, what you are doing , that should work!
Turn the valve to the right of Dugo's hand @18:40 turn it to the right to shut off the LP and turn all the way to the left to let the LP go to the motor(or be applied to the system). Once you have that valved turned all the way off(to the right) you can just unscrew the line to the tank id wear gloves cause the little bit of extra LP left in the line will purge out and its cold and stinky. Install the full bottle screw line onto the bottle and crank wide open again. Also if it starts leaking check the rubber gasket/washer sometimes it will come off the bottle and get stuck in the line don't double gasket by accident.
I think what you made is beautiful. No waste, reusing what you have. GENIUS. Keep up the great work!!!!
For your new fork lift, get 3 or 4 more tanks, and just swap them out and refillem in town when ya go.
love it
Great idea about the rear seat back
Can you put Toby's paw prints in the new Concrete please
Great job on the building and good to see Toby is doing will. Thanks for the great information and videos stay safe
It’s simple get a second propane tank from usually your weld supplier or propane supplier and then you remove empty one put full tank on like a barbeque
Chet, 5 ⭐ video God bless y'all from South Carolina viewer
You could park one of your spray trailers in the hog barn in winter
Great videos I watch everyone video to keep up with the progress of the hog barn conversion to a storage building.
Somedays it's just like that. Can't always have good days. Hang in there
I had one of those Mondays.
Love the vedios,Mondays seem to follow a person around,even in retirement,Lol!!!! Have a day,and keep'm coming....
Back in the day all you needed to know was mechanics mainly. Now , electrician , mechanic , teacher, for the help. Then clergy to bless the job.
Some tanks are for horizontal and other vertical. The difference is the ability to completely empty the tank.
I think more than a few struggle buses showed up at the farm that day.
happy monday
For what my comment is worth for you in Italy, those covers on the fifth wheels were already used in the 90s but they did not last long because they were worth nothing since they broke continuously.
Hay chet! Iloveyou guys! Love the farming video's😊
The comedy show is great. Keep em comin.
You guys keep the yard looking great .
Need jacks on the belly dump trailer for hitching and unhitching 7:57 poly plates catch on edges.
Great video nice job Chet Dougo Eric work getting done this is getting to be a perfect farm just a beautiful place to be and work cant get enough of your videos just great thank you and for sharing with us
You should call the purple truck, the Big Purple People Eater. My dog always thinks when I get into the car that it's eating me, he totally flips out and barks at the car lol!
“That’ll give you a heart attack and a stroke all at once” 😂🤣😂 And then the poly plate peeling off 😂🤣😂
The wall looks good.
I’ve got an idea on how much concrete cost so thanks for explaining at the end of the video the justification on why you’re having it poured vs how it stands right now. It still must be a hard pill to swallow spending that kind of money? Great content and am really impressed on how clean you keep the equipment, right on.
Oh yeah, you'll get it stuck all right! Great machine to have on dry, flat terrain or concrete/blacktop, but she'll be a tick in the wet, loose or uneven gravel or midwest April Showers gumbo.
Enjoyed the show
It sounds like a waste, but an old truckers trick to get fish smells out of a trailer is to dump coffee in it than wash it out. Probably will take 2 cans for a size of your old hog barn. Worth a try in my opinion.
Coffee works makes trailer were food grade will accept empty. Left over scrap gum. And empty needed coffee. I told a taxi rider he needed coffee. His back was highly smelly
I've filled many LP bottles for fork trucks and operated Cat lifts just like yours. I can help you. You will like the aired tires versus solid for outdoor use, especially in light snow. And yes you will most likely get stuck. They don't like mud :)
I commented on your IG post.
Those forklifts have very little travel on the steering axle, the one I had only had 1/2 inches.
As soon as you get any 1 wheel 3 inches lower or higher than the other 3 (when the bumpstop is hit), you will spin out.
Open differentials are nice for turning, but easy to spin out.
A 2nd lp tank is a must, try unloading 1/2 a truck and run out of push juice.
And lastly there is a hole at the top of the tank for a safety bolt, in horizontal mode (like you have) the hole should be at the bottom.
This orients the fuel pickup tube at the bottom, if it's turned you will run out of fuel with a 1/3 tank.
Love the channel, hope this helps.
I really hope they read your comment. Great information that could save them a lot of trouble.
