  • My first carving video that I did on CZcams one year ago was this frog. It was a pretty bad video......so I decided to remake it. This video goes out to those who passed up on carving the frog because they just couldn't tell what was going on. Here's the link to the first video: • Wood Carving a Frog. ...

Thinking out loud: If you saw the first video of the frog I hope you'll comment on the difference between the two.

The lighting and camera angle is spot on. The explanation of each step is very helpful. Well done sir and thank you.

Beautiful production! I learn a million times better with the POV camera angle like you have. I also appreciate your instructions more than most. You not only tell us where to cut, but how deep and what angle and why it matters.
Overall, extremely well done and I can’t wait to try this little guy.💕 thanks so much!

I may have the biggest tripod on CZcams!! Duke is certainly a character Jeff. I thought he was gonna blow the shot but he came through....lol.

I really appreciate this video. I am a newbie. Never carved a thing. My class starts next week and I am excited. I want to carve a frog for someone that collects them. I wonder how many times/tries it’s gonna take 🥴 thank you for sharing.

I wish you the best of luck....It's a wonderful hobby. This frog isn't terribly difficult so it's a good place to start. I'd love it see your progress..... wear gloves!!

I still use the big rough out knife in my videos. It was my first set off of Amazon. Cheap. ....but still cuts and sharpens nicely. I have "graduated" to the Flexcut knives....lol. Before YT, I used a box cutter. Email me if you have more questions. Good luck!
