  • Here is the ROV robotic gripper operating on 6 volts. The pump driving is built to run on 12 volts.

    Sir, i am from india, nice mechanism. Jaw opening stroke should be limited to reduce the jurky movement during closing.

      I've thought about adding some mechanism like stops to prevent closing too tightly or opening to the point of disassembly. It has to be able to work under saltwater (ocean). How would you approach this?

      I am from India, first i salute for this mechanism 👌🏽👍. As per me operations mechanism contains one speed reduction motor, motor shaft is attached with threaded screw and nut is linked with linkage arm and motor is run in forward and reverse direction to actuate opening and closing of linkeage jaw mechanism.
