1). Anti Dumping Duty -
a). It is a tariff that a domestic government imposes on foreign imports that is believes are priced below fair market value.
b). It is permitted by the WTO.
c). It is valid for period of 5 years from the date of imposition. But it can be extended for a further period of 5 years through a Sunset .
2). Counter vailing Duty -
a). Duties that are imposed in order to counter the negative impact of import subsidises to protect domestic producers are called CVD .
b). It is also permitted by WTO .
3). Both are officially implemented by the Directorate General of Trade Remidies.
QOTD- 1)- option A CVD levied on subsidised goods by importing countries.
2)- option B Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
