ALIGNMENT: RAISING A NEW BREED & A FIREBRAND
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭‬‬
* There is a new breed rising
* This new breed will have Jesus as their role model
* This new breed must subscribe to a journey of alignment
* The Model must always remain Jesus, for He is the Purest Breed that there is - Eph. 5:1
* When Jesus becomes our Example - The perfect Example, we come into Alignment.
* Our Followership of any man should and must be as they Follow Christ - 1 Cor. 11:1
* This is a Tough Doctrine in our Dayand Age.
* In other words, don’t follow blindly, follow using the Word.
* It is the Journey of Alignment that will bring us into the Fullness of Stature of Christ - Eph. 4:13-15
* We see the following Areas of Alignments when we look up to Him - Lk. 22:42
1. To His Will - Lk. 22:42
2. To His Ways - Pro. 14:12/Rom. 1:4/Is. 55:8-11
3. To His Thoughts - Phil. 4:8
4. To His Words - Col. 4:4/6
5. To His Walk - 1 Jn 2:6
6. To His Works - Jn 14:12
“And the Lord said to Satan, “I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.” Zechariah‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬ ‭NLT‬‬
* The rise of a new breed refers to the nature, but the rise of a new fire brand refers to the stature.
* God is raising a Brand plucked out of Fire - Zech. 3:2
* This Brand will have to be a Refined Brand - Mal. 3:2
* It is those that subject themselves to Refinement that will Benefit from the Alignment of the Spirit.
* The rise of this new brand will be the rise of the Agents of Fire.
Luk. 12:49-50 - “I am come to send fire on the earth…I have a baptism to be baptized with.”
