Haha the sweet canned corn kernels is an integral part of our traditional *_apam balik_* apart from chopped peanuts and sugar (if you dislike your food too sweet you can ask the hawker *_kurang gula_* ie reduce the sugar) Then they came up with modern variations by throwing in those different flavors like nutella/chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, etc.
Luckily your tummy has recovered, else you wouldn't have had the chance to have a go at all the different foods at the *_pasar malam_*
