As far as the QB getting rid of the ball Quickly, the receivers have to get open..The Bears receivers last year had the worst separation rate in the league outside of DJ Moore...Receivers running correct routes is key too..Darnell Mooney was notorious for running incorrect routes

As a gm, I would never draft a running back at #12. Even tho it looks like a good pick now, it won't be a good pick. When his 4 years are up, the Lions will have to pay him top of the market for his 5th year. Then give him a top of the market contract for his 2nd full contract. Paying big money to a running back is stupid in today's NFL's salary cap. It takes cap $$ away from premium positions.
Teams find cheap great running backs with lower draft picks all of the time. KC's starting rb Pacheco was a 7th round pick.
Plus, running backs don't last. They get beat up too much.
I have a question for Bears fans. IF the Giants picked Rome Odunze, do you think Poles woulda picked Malik Nabers if he fell to #9?

I’m not quite sure how to verbalize it appropriately but it’s clear the ‘type’ of player Poles drafts. I’m not sure Nabers fits that mold although it’s hard to pass on talent so perhaps.
@@jessewatson8281 I'm in total agreement with you. Odunze is exactly what Poles wants in a player. Hard working, great team attitude, and physical attributes. That's why he was #2 on the Bears' board. It's just freaking amazing that so many teams passed on him and that he is a Bear.
