4:33 that rock gave me a big flashback of my childhood on Pikmin 2, i used to lure enemies into the rocks path so the worm could do all the job for me, cheesed many cave sublevels and this map as well, at the cost of various pikmin deaths of course... I have a good idea for the paper bags. Use a balance scale and place 1 out of bounds and try making it to where the game thinks theres [number] of pikmin on it and make it connect with the other scale so that you will need said amount of pikmin on the paper bag/scale/
Imagine upscaling the textures and making bump maps and normals, remixing the music but keeping it faithful to the original composure, adding details and a map OOOH MAN that would be crazy!
The next thing you should port into Pikmin 3 are the original sounds for Bulborbs. Their sounds in Pikmin 3 are really irritating and artificial, while their Pikmin 1&2 sounds are much cuter and feel more realistic
I think the issue with transporting anything could be solved by building the area in the formidable oak and make it a defeat enemies mission so you don't have to transport anything. Also an idea: Is it possible to add the ship from Pikmin 2 into the map as a simple piece of geometry with a certain texture?

ye formidable oak would be cool, but a path editor is soon to come! also ye, if you export the model and you can add anything you wish using blender
