    PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO
For sale is a one of a kind 1962 Kellison GT40 Kit built by a man in Fresno, CA. A build like this you won’t find anywhere else! It’s all custom and looks great. You won’t believe the attention this car gets on the road. This is a replica of a 1969 Ford GT40 built by Kellison, who was the first company to sell these kits. This built has less than 30 miles on it, and cost the guy over 30k not including five years of labor. It becomes your choice if you want to elevate it more, or just enjoy it the way it is. The Kelloson kit was found in a barn in Fresno, CA. He then located a 1962 Volkswagen chassis and refurbished it completely. It has fully adjustable suspension, 4 wheel disk brakes and sway bars. All the components are brand new. Frame was taken down to metal and refurbished as well. It is powered by a fully custom 2054cc engine built by the best in Fresno Terry Burnett. It is mated with lots of accessories. Watch the video as we go through them. The list is too long. The motor alone cost $10k. Four speed manual transmission was also built to mate the engine. All the electrical work has been done nicely. Top of the line Pro-Comp gauges. $2,000 shifter that was brought from Vietnam. Real GT40 Headlights. The list is long, watch the video as we talk with the previous owner who built it. It runs and drives great. Lots of power and shifts well through the gears. The clutch, brakes, and suspension feel great. GT40 look alike wheels. New tires. Pretty much a brand new built. Nothing like it on the market.

"Kellison is the only one that designed kit car that looked anything like a GT40"
    1) No they weren't. They weren't even the first to make a GT40 kit.
    2) I would barely class that as a "replica". Looks like someone made a replica from memory.

That’s a lot of effort for a Temu version of a GT40. Commendable effort to build, but it sounds like a bug, and based on the driving video a bug seems to handle better

Why does it not look like a GT40? I respect a home do it yourself. But don’t say it it’s like the original because I know someone who has one and your off by a mile.

The shifter isnt $2k... Its $500... The motor and trans combo is awesome, built by a very reputable guy.

Inflation is getting out of hand. At 4:02 it’s a “thousand dollar shifter” and then at the 15:00 mark it’s a “two thousand dollar shifter!”

hello, i hate to tell you this, but this thing was not worth building. it is a volkwagon that makes MAYBE 250 horsepower, the bodykit was poorly manufactured, for putting so much money into it, it didn't seem to go into the right places. i have spent 25k on my 1948 chevy, and it makes 750 wheel, full carbon fiber widebody, tube chassis, and a complete carbon interior with a holley dash. please don't polish a turd, I was considering buying it but I noticed the almost 30 grand pricetag, its MAYBE worth 15k or less
