I tore my achilles a year ago and the only precursor to it for me was a super-tight lower back, around 10 minutes before the injury. Tore my right side, however I was going thru some issues on the left side knee prior to the injury. Had been working out for a few months really consistently, doing banded trap bar deadlifts as my primary exercise. Fingers crossed that I'll be able to play ball again. One year out from my injury and I think I'm about 85%, shooting for a comeback by next year this time 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
One of my best friends is a physio and when KD got injured unfortunately he predicted that he should sit the remainder of the playoffs and also predicted that he’d have an achilles injury. PJF is spot on, these types of injuries are predictable and avoidable by those who have the expertise.
As someone who ruptured their achilles this year this is a fantastic video. Going to listen to the whole podcast and going to strengthen all parts of my legs
I broke my right ACL two weeks ago and I was suffering from pretty heavy plantar fasciitis since almost 4 months and never stop playing soccer, never missed one training session. It is possible that the fasciitis had a role in my ACL rupture?
@@alessandrogale00 oh so that was external force. This has nothing to do with your plantar injuries since the force was added by someone else to u. If no one pushed u then u would have been fine. Its just was just bad luck. I had acl tear as well and i had no injury no soreness nothing. I was 100% and was in condition as well but some jerk bumped me and my knee twisted and tore my acl.

It depends on how u injured the acl. Was it from a landing, someone bump to u or u twist your knee
@@Chavanun555 from landing while running at high speed and I was pushed by the opponents while I was mid air
