The intstrumental outtro of Cleansing was a perfect end to the album. really didn't expect it. It's absolutely beautiful. Another thing I really have to praise you guys for is your lyrics. Whoever writes these, bravo man. I think they strike a really unique balance between poetic and angst. Angst has gotten a bad wrap but it really is a powerful emotion. Maybe frustration is a better word to use. This is probably something really fucking weird that you have never been praised for but I'm going to do it anyway. You wouldn't often see "fuck" or other expletives used in songs since a song is supposed to be more "artistic" than that (generally speaking), but I was pleasantly surprised by how you guys used it. It didn't feel forced, it felt just right. The line "black threads from your venomous lips" in Smother really hit me. It paints such a vivid picture and its just very poetic. And in the next line "I am your *fucking* light" the *fucking* could have easily been left out, and likely would have been by another artist, but I honestly really like that it was used here. It just perfectly expresses that frustration and its that word that people scream at the top of their lungs when they are frustrated and don't know what else to say. Maybe I'm reading too much into it and giving the lyricist too much credit, but I really think people don't consider the impact of curse words in lyrics. Just think of how rarely they are used? (aside from rap, which overuses them to a point where they lose ALL meaning) the vast majority of music tends to avoid them, and I think its generally for the reason of "its cheap and easy" to just throw in fuck, and shit, whenever you cant think of something else to use. But Breakdown at Tiffany's uses them perfectly. It really makes me feel like the lyrics are coming from the heart. I absolutely love you guys. thank you so much for the amazing music.

I only found out in January of last year (2019) and it took me forever to get to this point. But I heard "Square Shaped Circle" first back during spring of last year, I had gone through a "break up", if you could call someone that meant the world simply leaving without saying anything at all a break up... it devastated me. I haven't really opened up at all since then. My mother knew I was hurt, she tried to connect with me, but I just felt like giving up. I was thankful for her support, and I made sure to thank her, but I have to thank you as well. When I heard that gentle little piano based introduction, leading to a smoldering rise up to the explosion that was the chorus line, I felt like someone. Somewhere. Cared. As if they understood exactly where the hell I came from. Everything I felt. Everything I went through just to fucking feel even the faintest sense of hope to continue as I was. I remember I was drenched in sweat from crawling around in an attic because I was working a job in insulation and I just didn't care about anything, my hand was bleeding because I slammed my fist into a wall that had nails sticking out of it, the pain didn't matter to me. I just wanted to burn everything around me. I had no one to help me and I wanted so desperately to scream until my lungs gave out. I couldn't find any relief at all. So I hope you all see this because I mean it with all of my God damn heart. I would have killed myself if I didn't hear you. I love your music. The messages are perfect. The sound is perfect. You should never change a thing for anyone. You know what you're doing. People could find hope through you. I feel it's important. I have to thank you. I looked for the last two years now, just to make myself feel something other than empty, just to give myself the hope and inspiration I needed to keep going. Look. I am inspired to give to the world again. I learned how to do "fry screaming". I've spent nearly a year working relentlessly to practice and warm myself up to it. It's literally been my dream to be a metal vocalist since I was twelve years old. I'm turning twenty-seven in a few days and I've been searching my whole to understand how to. I understand now. I'm inspired. I have the hope I need. I feel this flame in me, writhing, demanding I start fucking creating. I owe my life to you. Thank you for sharing your art with us all. Thank you for caring. I hope you keep going because I know I will as well.
