IAM so glad you have this channel. I have suffered with crohns for 24 years and dumping syndrome I've had 3 stoma hernia surgeries 3 stoma replacement I've had to get both titanium hips and in April my left knee and in Feb my right knee from doctors over use of Prednisone. Life is hard for sure from feeding tubes to wound vacs where the sun don't shine. So I'm glad to see you putting forth effert and making these videos. Let's me know I'm not alone fighting this awful disease. I wish you and your family a blessed and merry Christmas stay positive
i just found your videos and im so happy i did. i get my surgery in 4 days and before finding your channel i beyond scared but now im more excited to have my life back after the surgery as i havent been able to live a good life with my ulcerative colitis, i actually cant really leave the house xx
Omg i urostomy surgery date in a few weeks. I’ve been watching your videos prior to me getting approved for surgery. I’ve always loved your content even though I don’t have Crohn’s disease I just like your videos. I am a freak when it comes to sparkles I’m literally thinking of installing a disco ball in my apartment yeah OK I’m weird. But after watching this video I looked up the paint on Amazon. I’m so tempted to buy all the colours and every bag change it being a different colour

I struggle to go swimming because my bag comes off so quickly (that day or the next morning. And I don’t have the confidence to show off my bag if I’m the only person to go swimming

Place the little stickers they give you over the filter when you spray paint the bag

I have Crohn's disease (essentially my body doesn't recognize my intestines so it attacks them) and I got an ostomy bag because my colon was damaged

It is from Crohn's disease and I have had it about 15 years. My life expectancy is no different than the average because of my ostomy bag!
i thought you don't empty your bags?(was a previous video) or did that change?
That was from a few years ago - I switched brands and type due to allergy to the previous bags!
I noticed that in this video you’re using an drainable bag now, have you stopped using non-drainables? and if you have, why did you change?
I used Hollisters non drainables but my skin wasn't agreeing to it! Coloplasts non drainables aren't as easy to use, so I just prefer old-fashioned emptying :)
