- I need to remove my old faulty dashcam and install a new dashcam. Installation is same for most cars with a hatchback door.

You might need to use a harder metal wire to help you feed the wire through. Put the metal wire from top to the bottom then tie the wire to this metal wire and pull up.

Get a long piece of hanger wire, stick the soft wire to it with duct tape and pull through.
