FOR YEARRRRRRRRSSSS I refuse to upgrade my mixer because all of the mixers after the 62, have removed the scroll bpm feature. Everyone I talked to about it looked at me like i was crazy. No one felt my pain. I was hoping the s9 or the 72 would have it. But the Rane GODS have heard my prayers. The 70 Features the scroll bpm. Ive never been so excited. I have yet to get my hands on this, I am officially adding this to my DJ rider as we speak. I MUST GET My hands on it and get in the action. Thank you MOJAXXX for the awesome review I think I am no longer interested in the 72 and or the s9 EVEN though the s9 is a beast...... This works perfect with my 12's and any other decks....

It made the mixer look gimmicky and was just another feature to potentially malfunction, eventually.. and were't they a bit laggy? Hi. I just got Twelve and Im looking for mixer for it. The thing is Im more of producer and I will be just starting with Serato to add scratches to my palette. Because Serato enabled mixers have audio interface in them I was thinking about getting rid of my interface but dont want something worse than what I have. Im mainly producer with Ableton with some vst synths, Native Komplete etc. Do you know how Seventy would cooperate with Live or any other DAWs in Windows 10 ASIO? Its a huge investment but if I could replace also my sound card it would make more sense and cover some expenses. Otherwise I will go with entry level mixers as its too expensive for my needs and turntable skills to get top line Rane mixer. Im also not sure if I could use entry level mixers with Serato audio interface in it at the same time I will be using Ableton with my primary audio interface if I decide to go that route. Best solution for me would be to have mixer with good interface in it or keep my audio interface and have some serato enabled midi controller that unlocks serato for my Twelve but from what I see all of them have audio interface inside? I would really appreciate help on that. I really like your reviews by the way. Thanks

(edit) i had bought a ddj900nxs2 and a xp2 from pioneer a few month ago and had to remap the xp2 it for traktor. unfortunaly the slide-fx sections don't work because traktor don't see it as one fader, every 10% section is one different fader and i cant get it to work like one. its realy sad cause the ni maschine jam use the same touch fader type like the pioneer xp2.

It’s actually like an S9 72 mixed. The screen on the 72 isn’t even necessary it’s just cool looking. This is way better.

Wrong , the screen is necessary to me. You just don’t have one. Sorry you can’t afford it.

Jay Werx I can buy like 4 if I wanted to... might be necessary to you but a shit Ton of people don’t care about that screen. If it’s not relevant then who gives a shit. The S9 is better then the 72 anyways and this is a rane/ S9 combined. I don’t like the 72 period
