Hey Guys! I'm back from my weeks holiday down south! I have been part of a wonderful G&S production in Bakewell and I managed to snag myself a principle part! I might upload a quick video of one of my quintets...I was a character called Melissa and I had quite a few songs. Not only did I manage to have a great time with the acting, singing and choreography, I managed to meet some brand new friends and have a gorgeous time hanging out with them, going to parties, BBQ's and evening films and tv programs. We did watch a ton of Rick and Morty. Must admit though, never had an audition before where you have to perform in front of everyone! It's so daunting...But fun if you get it right :P. Haha! It's also nice being part of a group of people your own age.
My next project is back to my make up artistry for Harrogate's Ruddigore. Whilst I can't hang out for the week with my friends, I can join them on the day and help them out with the singing behind the scenes. I'm very much looking forward to it!
Then my next holiday is...Barcelona! Yes, after Jitter does a week of singing over there then I am going over for a four day holiday. So I gotta keep my work out going to try and get my flab cut to its minimum and I can look "totes adorbs" in my swimmy, swim suits!
Oh yeah! It was also my birthday on the 2nd of August. So...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEEEEEEEEE! I'm 24. Yeeesh. Getting old and crinkled like a piece of paper. That aint good. But Jitter took me out to a Carribean restaurant and we had spicy curries. I've never had goat before, but it was rather nice!
Also, I might be getting promoted soon? I'm not sure. I was taken into my boss's office and he said he was putting me on training to potentially get a new position if it is sucessful. So now I'm talking to lecturers whilst helping them get published! It's excitinggggg. Some can be really rude though. I really should have suspected that some lecturers could be a bit arsy...But some are really nice too. :P You get a nice mix and match!
I think I am going to upload one of my Buxton videos after this to show you what I was doing for my holiday!
