My friend was trapped in this MLM during our JEE preparation. Company name was Ebiz . Later the company was banned by Hyderabad police and owners company are now in jail. So thank you harsh and lakshya bhaiya for exposing this fraudsters.

I was brainwashed to join an MLM Compnay, I was barely 18 years Old in First year of college. All of my friends started ignoring me, I regretted my decision to join each day, their seminars were so waste of time and entire Sunday used to get wasted. After going through such an awful experience I left after 6 Months.

I remember my friend who was a genius student in college got trapped in this scheme. She started manipulating me and my other friends so that we join the scheme and attend the seminars. She called me one day and said she's in an emergency and she needs my help, I literally rushed outside and found out that she's with some guy(her boss) and they together started manipulation once we went inside the mall. I had kinda clash with the boss and asked her to stop calling me her friend. It's been 4 years now, she tried to contact me , and I thought to forgive her but it always reminds me how she cheated her friends also there are some students who lost a lot of money because of this scheme.
She's a victim too. One anyone is sucked into MLM, the prime example of which is Amway thats their only goal and they try to get friends, relatives involved which invariably destroy relationships. Two years a guy i barely knew suddenly became very friendly with me, calling everyday and one day tried to pull me in with one interview with his sir. I played along and told the sir i dont have time. thats it. after that my 'new best friend' never called me😀

In case of my friend, yes she's a victim it's difficult to accept her after seeing how she cheated her family and everyone. They wanted her to study abroad with me ,get a job or business (her family runs business) and then to settle. The family asked our friend to make her understand, even teachers tried but no use. For 2 years she was in the business mocking us how poor we are now and will be forever . I was concerned, I am concerned somewhat. Life gave her a lot a chances but she chose to misuse it for years. I hope she is happy wherever she is

While completing my college i was looking for a job when i was in first year.. attended 4-5 MIL seminars and understood that's a huge scam. For people who actually want to earn and suffice their daily needs. Start working in the corporate operations dept. did the same and today after completing graduation got a job with badass salary in a fortune 500 company located in pune india. They considered my corporate experience while i was working and pursuing my studies.
A graduate with an exposure to the corporate world is far more useful than a Student who just passed out and is a fresher. Just be focused enough to maintain your academic career as well, it seems hard but trust me on this.. it is not. If a person who had to give the 12th exam 2 times to pass can do it, I'm sure as hell anyone can.
My friend was working with MLM. He tried selling me dreams of money cars etc. after 3 years I met him. He had left it. After taking 3-4 lakhs money from juniors for MLM and scamming them, he vanished from every social media and had police case booked by his name in fraud. Now he is laying low and working a job.
This is great man, you really sacrifice your money intentionally to the scammers for Educational purpose hope you earn more money from this video

No, the seniors that are up there that gives them training don't let them feel that this is a scam, they call it a business. And they use the business word many times that all middle class people believe this is a business and they will become crorepati in very short period of time

2018 mein mere purane boss ne mujhe approch kiya tha ek company ke liye jisme mujhe 2lacs invest karne the aur aage aur logo ko dhundhna tha jo 2lacs invest karte... usne apne boss se meeting karai or bade bade sapne dikhaye, ekbar k liye me ready bhi ho gya or perents se bola.. wo mere ghar tak aa gya tha par meri mother ne usse company ke financial se related qst kiye or wo jwab nhi de paya or bhag khada hua.. us waqt meri family ne mujhe scam se bacha liya.. or wo mujhse nazre milane k bhi layak nhi rha ab. .. so friends talk to your family they will guide you right. ❤

As far as my knowledge is concern network marketing is excellent distribution model where there is consumable products that can be consumed every month and such distribution model is excellent.
Pyramid scheme is different
Right said but some companies don’t have training model for their distributors. So they do unethical things like income claims, product claims and all. Give people false hopes. They have no specific return policy but some authentic MLM Companies follow all government rules.
That's why I am texting that someone who presents network marketing business model, after that the prospect should verify about the company, products and compensation plan before signing up. Authentic company are those who are the member of Idsa and WFDSA. So someone who wants to do business as network marketing should join who are the members of above organisation. Such companies follows the rules of the govt. Best of luck

This has been a confused topic so far. Finding the differences among Direct Selling/ mlm/ ponzi schemes/ pyramid schemes, etc, etc.....
Before choosing any direct selling company, check it's authenticity in the Government of India's (ministry of corporate affairs) portal. Then proceed.
If you are a genuine direct seller then Skill India provides you a certification course, educates and examine your knowledge through an online test. (min 70% marks required to qualify the exam & get the direct seller certificate)
Stay away from money rotation schemes with different names.
And yes, there is no profession where one gets true wealth without hardwork, struggle & challenges.

Another scam is on these job portals they ask to fill forms and send addhar card photos and all don't fall for such trap. Just be sure whom you are talking to and whom you are sharing the details. Don't send any details without knowing whom you are giving and for what.

Now there is another addition, monthly purchase, in some mlm schemes distributors are required to do monthly purchase .
Which is even more dangerous.
Some arrange paid training seminars for distributors, and whatever money poor distributors make goes in useless paid training sessions.
New guidelines tell income to be made only from sales commisions
You have also rightly pointed out how they crticize other jobs occupations, business and professions
