People be careful , I visited Eldoret some times back and went to Sirikwa hotel for breakfast but to my surprise, they refused to serve us. I will never forget.

I happened to be there l can tell you for sure its busy sometime even somedays more than Nairobi . l heard that its the basket of kenya the home of champions global, its the hospital hub of western kenya holding the biggest hospital outside Nairobi, with many factories and big government institutions and its the get way to landlocked countries of east and central Africa .But its road system is not of city status , they are very narrow compared to the activities that are carried there.that's what l saw for sure the video was very nice but you were in hurry in some areas we didn't see clearly.

The most congested town in kenya, no uptown and no downtown. Everywhere is downtown
đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł the entire CBD is along Uganda road. But I love it. Studied there from 2005 till 218 when I left Kenya. I have seen it getting more congested than a 14 seater with sambaza. Students love it and are mostly the main clients. I left when it had over 10 Universities diploma colleges not included.

I've been saying this about Central towns, they are a joke compared to the ones in the Western part of Kenya yet Kikuyus are the most entrepreneurial, majority, relatively richer than other communities and in close proximity to Nairobi. We need to wake up!

Wrong. Rephrase your statement. Eldy CBD is compact and is much more developed and busier than Kisumu. There are also more modern and better buildings in the CBD. But Kisumu is larger and spread out. You see, everything in Eldoret is concentrated up in town. All malls, markets, banks, buspark, main highway etc are in the CBD. Nothing much goes on outside Eldoret town. Kisumu CBD is less congested and looks less busy coz NO markets, highways or busparks are in CBD. The malls are also out of town. The county govt had relocated all hawkers and matatus out of town. Kisumu's expansive downtown consist mostly of old buildings, but uptown looks extremely attractive. Another advantage for eldy is that it's more cosmopolitan than Kisumu.
We african's must come together and work together,no border's,all african's countries free for black people,one Africa we need,wake up african's??đđżâđżâđżâđżđȘđżđđż. Africa is beautiful.

Congested town made worse with numerous spaghetti thin roads ..just because it has numerous hospitals and tall buildings,, does not qualify it to be a city ... Can anyone inform me if eldoret has even a public park within CBD ???like Mombasa Nairobi and kisumu.
A public park is not a prerequisite for any city to be named one, nonetheless there is poa place where any tourists and locals can go view animals

Comparing for example Nairobi's roads which hold a capacity of 5 million inhabitants to eldoret's meagre 1 million eldoret's road capacity is suitable for a city of it's size. Nonetheless I do agree that eldoret, as well as other cities, could do better in terms of repairing it's roads, increasing road capacity and overall improving the transport system within the cbd as well as it's outskirts
