Spring Cake Pan Wreath || Spring Decor DIY 2023

- Hello everyone! Welcome back to my craft room. I'm Whitney Lucas with Crafty Thoughts & Whatnots. Today's video is a fun idea for an alternative wreath. I used a spring form cake pan as the base and filled it with all kinds of soft dusty pink accents for the season. Some challenges did pop up during creation but we prevailed! Take a look and the video and let me know how u think it turned out! Would you used a cake pan for a wreath?

This is so cute. I like it that you show a mess up or if something doesn't work you still show it. That way I only have to redo mine 6 times not 7. Lol. I'm beginning to think my brain works that way all the time. I look at it like I'm learning something all the time. Lol. Not really. I look at it like what else can I do to screw this up. Lol. i LOVE your wreath for a kitchen! you are a STAR at wreaths and flowers. i saw spring and i was like, what?! we had 14" of snow a week and a half ago, was snowed in for 4 days and are set to get 12" more today, so i don't mind thinking ahead to spring. i love the snow/winter, but sometimes it gets to be a long season without any color. btw, i also pronounce it pee-a-knee.
p.s. i feel like I'm the driver of the struggle bus. not only do i gotta ride it, but i gotta drive it too?!😆

Oh, that was really fun to watch! I've never heard of the accelerator or surebonder. Have you done a video about this product? I'd love to see it before I buy this. It's in my cart, so I'm just curious how it all works, meaning the thicknesses or the glue and how you apply all of it. You're so funny and very talented. I love how this turned out. I would've never thought of a springform pan to make a wreath in. It's lovely. I cannot wait for spring either. Thank you for the video. Have a wonderful day!
I don't have a video on the glue its self. I'm not sponsored by them at all I just really like the product. Its a super glue or a CA glue.. The accelerator makes it work or cure faster. The glue on its own will work just needs a lil more time. Thicknesses are preference in my opinion. I like the thick most but that's only because its thicker and wont run as much. Its also a good wood filler but I don't have any experience in that area. But thanks so much for joining me here today.. Many hugs and happy crafting!
