Like all the other Japanese Beast Wars characters, it's undoubtably a Shellformer... but the tusk and trunk articulation is admittedly cool.
Actually all beast wars scharacters are shellformers. That's kinda the idea.

@@crudnom7090 the base robot doesnt contribute anything to the beast mode, all it does is fold up while the kibble wraps around it...

Big Convoy never skipped leg day.
For an absolute unit of a beast mode, the articulation in the ears and tusks (and the lil' tail) is impressive.

A transmetal2 or a fossilizer if this would be awesome, it would have to be big though

I love his Nemesis Prime redeco as well, almost all of the Optimus Prime character’s have there own Nemesis Prime varient including Optimus Primal with Nemesis Primal
This exact mold is called slammoth in America just we never made him a prime aka convoy.
The correct name of mammoth prime is big convoy

"Convoy" was never used for any Prime in the West, so most of the figures had their names changed when they were sold out of Japan, like Lio Convoy who was renamed as "Lio Prime" in the western releases.

Reall cool! I know that it's almost completely identical to the original toy, but it's still nice to see the japanese line of beast wars getting more love as well nowadays from the toy companies. While I personally prefer more the idea of Lio Convoy, aka, a transformer that combines the traits of Optimus Prime with a lion rather than a mammoth, the mammoth version of Big Convoy also looks really darn cool, and truely gives the guy a very strong presence 😊.
Also, I want to thank you once again for your videos, Touch Toys. You, Wotafa, and Mangmotion are the three toy reviewing channels on CZcams that I check on an almost daily basis first thing in the morning. I'm always looking forward to whatever engineering marvel you will bring to the attention of all of us! Keep up the good work!😁

This is the original toy. It's just a slight repaint for the Encore line

You’re right about the Honey Badger and Platypus, but we have gotten a Bear and Penguin Maximal! Polarclaw from Beast Wars Transforms into a Polar Bear, and Break from Beast Wars Neo Transformers into a Penguin 😁

My idea for the tusks are like handheld weapons like a pair of scythes... And can be joined like a Klingon's batleth.... Or a pair of curved clubs....
The trunk can be straightened and becomes a blaster.
Does anybody else see the animal aspect of transforming kind of disgusting like a horror movie? When a robot turns into a car and back. I don't picture skin muscles sinew tearing apart. I don't know, it's really gross to me.
I feel the same. I imagine it's probably a reason why RotB movie went with a more "mechanical" style for the beast bots.
As much as I appreciate the mammoth head movements.

it won't be as awesome as the original, just like Lio Convoy Legacy evolution is not that amazing.
I would love to get Big Convoy though. Unless somehow, Big convoy original toy is re-released as vintage, like some of the Kenner's Beast Wars have been. At least, Big Convoy with all its gimmicks is way worth the play value then... legacy lio convoy.

I've always found animal or dinosaur transformers deeply disgusting and unsettling. It's like uncanny valley party.
So you don't like the Dinobots or Soundwave's cassettes.
@@edz8872 Soundwave's cassettes are different. They're clearly robots in the shape of animals. This is like a robotic armature covered in the parts of a dead mammoth. I can almost smell it rotting.
@@leoprzytuac3660 What the fuck are you talking about? They're not covered in dead tissue scavenged from animal corpses, it's artificial organic material. If it's living, it's probably all self sustaining and their repair chambers clearly are capable of repairing it.
