Exploring Fjords of Newfoundland's South Coast

  • I walked two routes on the South cost of Newfoundland. One from Devil Bay to Francois and the other from Cape Bay (Pine Bay). In both cases I was dropped off by the boat on the coast and than was making my way back to town.
The walk from Devil Bay was 80 km (50 miles) long and took me 5 days to do. After being dropped of by boat at Deadman Cove, I spent two days waiting out the weather and one day drying out my camera after it was dropped in a lake.

This is an unparalleled record of the extensive grandeur of the Newfoundland coast that many of us are unaware of such beauty .Your courage and sense of adventure will open many eyes. You have my admiration and gratitude. Thank you!

Hi Viktor, I am loving your excursion of the area of NL where my father grew up. At 9:37 you mention you are camping at Lance Cove but you are actually camping right in front of the house where my father grew up in Rencontre West. That red house used to be a 2 story before the community was resettled. I'm excited to show my dad this video to see how many place he can recognize :)

Viktor Posnov Hey, it's only me. Maybe some people like it. I don't but I'm only one guy. But if you want my advice, I'd use some music, like introducing during particularly intense scenes, but you don't need to fill every minute with sound. It's not necessary. You're filming nature and beautiful scenery, it's ok to be tranquil and quite. Hell, there's people who do well with no music and not even talking.
Anyway, it's your channel, I just wanted to share my opinion, like so many people do online. I'm not criticizing though, just sharing.

Maybe u should start watching other people’s videos to see how it’s done. Your going through a lot to get these videos, so you might as well do them right
