I am from Singapore and strongly agree that this is not just about India, the global education system is not optimized. When I was in college, I used to politely ask lecturers on the application of what we are learning such as advance calculus and other math chapters. Instead, I used to get told off and advised to study for the upcoming exams. The idea of rote learning without even being aware of its real life application is plain stupid. In retrospect, I spent 2 decades wasting my youth learning useless concepts that have no application in real life. Our education systems needs a serious change.

For e.g I love calculus so I knew i would like engineering. There should be preliminary exposure of all subjects till 15-16 years of age.

I am presently teaching at a Government College in Shimla. After listening to this podcast I felt we are far away from the realities of today's world. The government seriously needs to spend more and more on the education sector to make our students especially in rural areas equally efficient and creative in comparison to those living in Metropolitan and other cities of India.

I am entrepreneur in USA have multiple businesses and 98% of my employees speak better English than me because it’s their mother tongue. I only do 2 things which helps me 1) whenever they use slang and I have trouble understanding instead thinking in my mind and being embarrassed or self doubting I just ask them what that means… so my English get better everyday and I learn new things 2) I tell them English is my 3rd language. So They always remember that I do know other languages too 😂

@@im-Anarchy My suggestion would be don't apply for junior college or cbse/state board choose NIOS board. This way you will get maximum time for entrance and practice your hobbies. Because I think 11th 12th institutions or highschool is waste of time, energy and money.

I really liked the discussion at 1:11:00-1:20:00. I tried something similar idea at 1:11:00 in mechanical areas even before watching this video. It really worked for me. But this was in European countries. Hope this idea must also work in India.

This podcast was really worth to watch I'm 16 year guy on 10th class I'm preparing to be topper on class 10th which will held on after 2 month from Jharkhand board hindi medium And my mindset is also like that running for jobs or preparing for high level exams is waste of money and time but it also teach us to that how to live in this toxic world....yeah I had got this knowledges from Shrimad bhagwat gita📖i will advice you guys that Plzz read that book once in your life it will really change your mindset and thinking power....
