心友のお庭のヘリンボーンレンガと
同じ柄にしたいと思いDIYに挑戦してみました
ほとんど相棒が下地を作成してくれて
私はドライモルタルを撒いたり
レンガを並べて
水を撒いて
楽しい時間でした
地面が土の場所はレンガを使ったり
自分の体重で踏み固めていき
砂利を敷いて更に固めていく
水たまりが出来て気になっていた箇所も綺麗になって、これはやってみて本当に良かったです。
ガーデニングもそうですが、自分たちで作り上げたものは、上手くいかなくても味があって、たったひとつだけの良さがありますね。
"味"って言葉は最高です♪

I wanted to use the same pattern as the herringbone bricks in my friend's garden.
I wanted to make the same pattern as the herringbone bricks in my friend's garden, so I tried DIY.
My partner did most of the groundwork.
I spread the dry mortar and
I laid out the bricks
and sprinkling water.
It was a fun time!
Where the ground was dirt, I used bricks and
We stepped on the ground with our own weight
and then put gravel on the ground to harden it further.
The areas where puddles had formed and were bothering me were cleaned up, and I'm really glad we did this.
As with gardening, when we create something ourselves, even if it doesn't work out, it has its own flavor, its own one-of-a-kind goodness.
