So Riddler knows Bruce's identity and that might be thanks to them knowing each other in childhood. In the Japanese trailer, we see a corkboard with a bunch of pictures in Riddler's lair and in 1 picture, we see a crowd of kids in an orphanage and right beside one kids face is another picture of adult Bruce Wayne which seems to indicate that that kid is Bruce as a child. We also see a kid who looks alot like a kid Riddler, with the shaggy hair and glasses. It says "If only I knew then what I know now" over the picture...hmmm... Riddler seems to be targeting corrupt cops and politicians and wants to blow up the city (in the other trailer Bruce says "this is a powder keg and Riddler's the match"). Don Mitchell Jr is the mayor of Gotham who was killed by Riddler (he's the guy with the tape covered face with "No More Lies"), Gil Colson, the DA of the GCPD, is the one with the bomb strapped to his neck at the funeral of Don Mitchell Jr, and Pete Savage, the current Commissioner of the GCPD is the one who says "He's a vigilante". All of these names are seen in that same shot where it said "The Sins Of My Father???". I'm assuming those are Riddler's victims that he kills throughout the movie.
Zoe says, her fighting style for Catwoman is based on capoeira. The long Halloween story seems to imply that the Waynes has some connection with Falcone, one that bruce Wayne ended. there's also something with the waynes and the court of owls I think. so maybe they are drawing from those. either way it's good to have a new angle in the origin story of Batman.

It would appear that Alfred made the decision to keep at least part of Bruce's family's (parents) legacy from him. I'm assuming the less public side of that legacy. I think it’s more about Alfred knowing about and not telling Bruce everything his family has been involved in with Gotham’s history (crime, corruption, etc) and maybe specifically something Thomas may have done. The shot where Bruce is laying out all the evidence on the floor of the Batcave shows an area Bruce has labeled “the sins of my father?” And then there’s another shot with Bruce and Gordon walking through an old house with closed doors that the Riddler seems to have spray-painted “where it all began”. Whether that leads to setting up something like the Court of Owls or just that Bruce’s family was involved with someone like Cobblepot, I don’t know. We’ll find out in March.
I think the "you lied to me, Alfred" thing may be a Kennedy and the mob like relationship between Bruce's father and Falcone which would make sense with him coming into contact with Selena/Catwoman investigating her own connection to Falcone who may or may not be her father in this if the "Long Halloween" plot connection that was hinted at being an inspiration for the movies plot does bare out.

Looks like DC is starting to make Thomas Wayne more of a snobby, corrupt, and superiority complex like most politicians and public figures. Seems like depictions of Thomas Wayne before the Joker was always noble, giving, generous, likable, and righteous. He probably has ties to the Court of Owls or the Falcone Crime family.
The lie is probably that his family wasn’t always involved in funding wholesome things with their money. I bet he finds out they weren’t always so squeaky clean in their business dealings, though they had good intentions.
I think Bruce will find out that his parents were apart of The Court Of Owls. I think they might be the villains or one of the villains in the sequel if we get one.
the thing alfred lied about is the background of the Wayne family like how the murder of the Thomas and Martha was random, like how Thomas Wayne ran Gotham ( this is just my theory ive heard something similar to this in the Batman Teltale Series games)
@@millymae9907 I'm already a big fan of TellTale games. All the way back to Back to the Future. Throw The Bat into the mix and I am all the way in. I'm ashamed to say it took me this long to get to it, but, hey, better late than never!
One of the going theories is that Thomas Wayne may have some criminal ties. In The Long Halloween it was revealed he made deals with Falcone. He got his hands dirty to try and help the city. Making deal ls with the devil so to speak. Reeves said The Long Halloween influenced this one along with Ego which sees a young Bruce Wayne/Batman struggling with his dual identities (Bruce waiting to help the city and not kill. And Batman wanting to be being more violent and lethal). This might be the Vengeance/Justices themes in the trailer.
Its more than likely the court of owls storyline, I don't want to spoil the exact thing I'm referring to, but I'm sure most people do know that storyline
It might be tied it with joker movie with Thomas Wayne getting everyone in Gotham rioting, riddler is probably indicating that it's Bruce fault because he's a wayne
so there’s a japanese batman trailer and in one of the shots it showed a picture of Bruce and Riddler as a little kid together and Thomas and Martha but Bruce and Thomas eyes are scratched out so i think Riddler is somehow related to the Wayne’s but that’s just a theory
If you watch the long Halloween animated movie they explain the Wayne's got involved with the Falcones but they were still good ppl. I'm gonna guess that's what Alfred meant.
I think the trailer is amazing (its a trailer tho) but I love how we have three villains that we have seen so far. Zoe as catwoman that is the cat at least from what we've seen so far. Only thing I'm worried about is if they try to throw joker in too fast I'm willing to wait till a third movie for joker but I wouldn't be surprised if he is the main villain in the second one
What a hell of a reaction, I am a life long fan of Batman and have hated most interpretations of him I liked Heath ledger as Joker he was the man until Joaquin Phoenix and that film is. I 've loved Tom Hardy's Bane and Cillian Murphy in a very small role of Scarecrow all these roles are perfection. The allocation of the bat suit has been woefully done. It has always pissed me off that they made him a super hero he was never a super hero he isn't now. He is a detective and he has a lot of very fancy toys but no special powers. This is set in year two of him been so full of rage and hatred he was a one man vigilante he could not be controlled. He was a criminal end of subject. I am vengeance is exactly what he is a young man whose parents where shot in the face in front of him but the part I think Alfred kept him out of were his parents were more involved in the corruption than he knew. Robert Pattinson is going to nail this role so good that anyone coming up after him will be judged Pattinson himself is a very intense guy, judging him on past films is ridiculous because he comes from England like me and nearly all our actors work and their motto is if it's hit great if it's not also great they got paid. Zoe Kravitz is going to be a kickass cat woman. Michelle Pfeiffer cat woman was sublime. Riddler one of my fav villians is finally making a comeback hated Carey's version. Roll on 2022
I think 'Youre still a wayne' is just referring to him just finding out what his father did. similar to Gotham ect. as its still his second name. nothing to do with him being adopted or whatever.
I'm really excited for this film, it's too sick. (also, please watch Batman vs Spiderman Death battle in the near future, it's a great one to start off your exp with death battle)

@@millymae9907 I'm already a big fan of TellTale games. All the way back to Back to the Future. Throw The Bat into the mix and I am all the way in. I'm ashamed to say it took me this long to get to it, but, hey, better late than never!
Calling it now, Court of Owls
Zoe Karvitz looks great as a cat
One of the going theories is that Thomas Wayne may have some criminal ties. In The Long Halloween it was revealed he made deals with Falcone. He got his hands dirty to try and help the city. Making deal ls with the devil so to speak. Reeves said The Long Halloween influenced this one along with Ego which sees a young Bruce Wayne/Batman struggling with his dual identities (Bruce waiting to help the city and not kill. And Batman wanting to be being more violent and lethal). This might be the Vengeance/Justices themes in the trailer.
The wrist rocket with the short range grapnel gun fucking gadgets
Its more than likely the court of owls storyline, I don't want to spoil the exact thing I'm referring to, but I'm sure most people do know that storyline
Fvckn love ur reaction
It might be tied it with joker movie with Thomas Wayne getting everyone in Gotham rioting, riddler is probably indicating that it's Bruce fault because he's a wayne
Many says he's not being adopted like your though, but it is about reality that the wayne's family has corrupted too
Him being adopted would ruin this flick to me.
I think they are about to do that one warehouse scene from Batman vs. Superman justice..
I think you may be right.
In the Batman The Telltale Series, Bruce discovered something about his parents..very similar here
I just started that game less than a week ago.
@@ThreeShadesofWhatever oh that's what's up!
The low budget on that movie and the quality of the picture seems like a high dollar picture
I'm guessing it'll be Court of Owls related. If they can set that up properly it could make this even better.
That was my reaction exactly hahah
I like riddler watching his trailer
This movie is going too be epic love Batman and catwoman
MY FAVORITE CHANNEL! SUBBED!
High praise! Thank you for watching and sticking around!
The riddler is definitely channeling the Zodiac Killer.
so there’s a japanese batman trailer and in one of the shots it showed a picture of Bruce and Riddler as a little kid together and Thomas and Martha but Bruce and Thomas eyes are scratched out so i think Riddler is somehow related to the Wayne’s but that’s just a theory
Love u guys reaction and energy. Just subscribed. ✊🏾
Thanks for watching! Glad you decided to stick around!
Only thing I'm worried about is if they try to throw joker in too fast I'm willing to wait till a third movie for joker but I wouldn't be surprised if he is the main villain in the second one
bro in the red was flabbergasted
Robert Pattinson the Batman
I have that same skull blanket.
Right on!
Wayne is an old family name in Gotham so they have a LOT of sceletons in the closet. They are not so noble how the Bruce has thought they are.
I agree, it just depends on which iteration they're taking inspiration from or just a whole new storyline of some sort.
Roll on 2022
I’m so ready for this movie! 🎟
U know the “u lied to me your still a Wayne” part could be 2 different parts of the movie trailers pull trickery sometimes
Soo waiting ❤️👍
