Both my left ankle/foot and my right knee (meniscus tear) hurt quite a bit but I still wanted to take part in this traditional end-of-spring/beginning of summer high point of the national season. I ran ok on the initial short legs but then I started to mess up when I relaxed mentally.
System setup:
GoPro 11 Black in Action (max field of view) mode
Garmin 735 Forerunner to record the track log
QuickRoute to edit/tweak the track log and determine control punching times
Avidemux to merge the GoPro video parts together, trim the end points and extract audio and video to separate files.
OrientView merges the video with the track log from QuickRoute and generates a silent video
Finally ffmpeg is used to merge the silent video with the original audio.

Hello. I have an event tomorrow and I think I have figured out the best way to mount the camera. Because I wear a wicking white race hat for the sun and heat, I cannot wear a headband so I think I’m going to use the camera on my hydration pack strap. The thing I noticed interesting when I used my hero 10 a few weeks ago was it made 11 minute videos All by itself for a one hour event. Is that normal? Is that something he program you use for merging videos can deal with? Thanks.
