Hi, I'm Lamar, your driving instructor.
In this video, we're going to teach you how to properly exit a parking space in front, as well as in reverse.
All of this will definitely come in handy in your life, so every driver should know how to properly exit a parking space safely.
Just follow the instructions and all my recommendations, and then be sure to repeat them in practice, and you will definitely succeed.
And the main thing to remember is that the more times you repeat parking in practice, the more confident you will feel on the road.

wtf no you dont need to reverse that much and take the whole road before steering, reverse in a straight line until half the car is out then start steering... you don't have to take both lanes

This video was created for novice drivers who will be able to feel the dimensions of the car and start making maneuvers earlier

needs to be more than half the car length, especially for novice drivers. A good reference is to reverse until your shoulders are in-line with the bumper of the car next to you. than you can begin turning your wheels.. You'll have plenty of clearance so your front end swing doesn't hit or swipe the car beside you.

This is a good video for learner drivers indeed! 0:50 "until your shoulder extends beyond the front bumper of the neighboring vehicle" is quite okay when moving forward out of the parking but then 1:28 "back out until the front bumper of the vehicle is level with the rear bumper of the neighboring vehicle"? Has that vehicle not reversed too much up to the main road assuming vehicles are driving along especially if it is a busy road exposing a danger to oncoming drivers as well as yourself 😎🤔?😮

Also there could be the case when you won’t have enough space behind to do such reverence as we seen here!
