Trick of da year. So if dropping right in your right stance find a hollow barrel at least 4 to 6 ft. Solid* 8 ft. Even mo mean.... take off early so you can set it up, fine some room for a nice HaRd cut back ,,.... . going left now into a hollow barrel punt it!!!* Back side and flip it! ... To where you end up nose to the face of wave and tail going backwards on wave at the end . . . Remember on the cut back$$$ do it!
Hands down one of funnest surfers to watch of all time. He’s literally surfing to Hendrix and his style of surfing is somehow so new but meets old. Loving the daily vids you guys! The hard work is appreciated!
I love fact that the video shows the entire ride from paddle-in to drop-in to bottom turn to whatever...tube or aerial. It's all seamless as one move leads directly into the next. I think watching these productions have improved my surfing and Mason is one of my favorites. Funny, when I was a kid, his dad was one of my favorites.

Those Rad Rippers are mental. 100% one of my all time favorite boards. It’s actually crazy how easy it gets into waves. As a 95kg dude I don’t get to surf 1ft waves but have had some super fun surfs on the rad ripper in super small waves and have had it out at a local point break in a 6ft swell and was super surprised how well it did. I’m 6’0, 95kg and I ride the 6’0 at 34.5L which is a little more foam then I usually go for but you don’t notice it when surfing but you definitely do notice it paddling.

I reckon the rocks keep the crowds quite thin. Really should consider a helmet. Head injuries can have long lasting effects (tbi is not good - hard to diagnose symptoms that show up years later and hard to manage symptoma)

Hmmm... let's see. North Shore in December, when the population increases tenfold, and you can get barreled with two other guys in the water. Mason caught more waves in this short video than most would catch bobbin at Pipe for ten days. What you witnessed in this video was surfing in it's purest form.
