CIX’s jungle is builded upon and around the classic Dante’s Devine Comedy, Inferno. It’s deep and also interwoven to the CIX’s member’s background and struggles they have been through so much (especially idols life’s of Seunghun, the lead vocal, BX the main Rapper and Bae Jinyoung the center of the group). The music productions are world class topnotch, MZMC and Antony Russo and many more. Yes, i can go on all day and as I also agree with you that we can literally write a 500O words essay.
The reason why I really admire your work is that you just analyze it deep and so on point. 👍🔥

the way this song is so unique (imo) she sound so emotional, tragic at some times and soft but yet so powerful

CIX constantly upping their level. I’m so glad to have Bae Jinyoung back healthy and to finally have new music from them! The performance looks so powerful and the music and imagery are so complex and beautiful. My English literature self was going a mile a minute too ❤️
the text at the beginning is the opening line to the divine comedy in its original italian "In the middle of the journey of our life, I came to myself, in a dark wood, where the direct way was lost."
also your first reaction was like. my exact reaction. i just sat there with my mouth hanging open for the entire 4+ minutes
mesmerised from start to finish. and then immediately watched it three more times.
Technically it isn't italian but it's a dialect from Florence which is the base for the modern italian
this is the real cultural reset
the chorus just hits differently and the cinematography is breathtaking.. they’re insane
The funny thing is, after I watched the mv this morning, my professor pulled up this exact quote from Dante in my lecture.

this comeback was everything! from the mv to the rpoduction everything was royal and magical if i must say. Complete shock is how i describe my first reaction + the members pulled it of so effortlessly. Definitely one of the best comebacks in a long while.

What you see at the start is a verse in Dante's Inferno which was written with an old type of dialect from Florence. In the Inferno the language is lower (this mean that in the 13th century in Florence this was the language that was spoken by normal people) while the Divina Commedia goes on with Purgatorio and Paradiso the language become more and more difficult and high (and it becomes more like latin, a language talked only by intellectuals)
I’m late but just wanted to say yours is the only reaction I watched as of now because even though you may not know Dante or the Divina Commedia (Divine Comedy) I knew you would sense the meaning of the mv was deeper. I like the song is not that special or impressive for my personal taste but I think concept wise this might be my fav of the year (maybe I’m biased cause I’m Italian and I kinda feel proud a little bit)
I usually never watch teasers but I watched teasers for this comeback after I saw the MV and it was so Worth it! It’s like a *BRIDGE to that past movie stuff and this comeback
