Summary:
1. Dress Ako can replace Azusa (def reduction), buff Crit and Cdmg as Striker, buffs group (good in 10 Students content).
2. Makoto is great (Penetration, high dmg as Support) but there are cheaper alternative or better unit to pull (Nonomi, Cherino, Momoi)
3. D.Ako > Makoto, Iroha may not share the 100 pulls but you can get her from 200 points shop.
4. Pull whoever you like but remember after this banner is Dress Hina/S.Hoshino which is GOAT banner.
4 is good as it has 6% rate

So Iroha banner is fair game.

if you wanna re roll, the best option is to get as may accounts as you can with ako dress on the first 10 pulls, and hope for the next 90 pulls to get the other one or more than 1 3*
In my opinion there were some unfair points against Makoto.
Makoto's most common role is to AoE nuke with yellow damage on Chesed and being the best damage dealer for Greg, on her launch i dont think there isnt anyone who does that because of some "details".
Momoi doesnt have the range and damage, Cherino doesnt have Accuracy and Damage, Nonomi doesnt have Accuracy (fixed it for chesed with her bond equip, but still missing for Greg)
Not only that, the Special options for AoE Yellow were quite weak for the longest time and hard to justify pulling for, C.Saya have a strange range that depends on your team position and asks for 20 seconds for her full damage, NY.Serika doesnt do damage, Moe have the range and lacks the damage (lacks accuracy for Greg), Saten have the damage with a moderate range (most people i saw dont even look at her for some reason)
I know that this may sound like nitpicking specially the accuracy part, but those are problems that take away my fun with the game as it locks higher raid difficulty behind RNG hell and subpar team compositions and i think Makoto should have these annoying things mentioned as a problem that she solves

very few people in top 50 PVP using iroha for defense or attack by default now, because with introduction of S Shiroko, Iroha is too slow. currently Iroha is only perfect for fighting against NY haruna defence formation, but I wouldn't use Iroha unless I know the exact enemy defense formation.

Once said event banner is over, the 100 free pulls, whether you use it all or not, will also expire.
Dress Ako all the way. She's more universal in terms of team building, doesn't need specific condition to be at 100% efficiency, and 2 huge melons. Free 100 pulls that goes away after this banner, so might as well go for the 2 big melons along with meta level kits.
Maybe i'll aim for Makoto first. I've watched someone clear Chesed with just spamming Makoto skill.
Of course, it would be better if I have both
I mean I have 100k+ pyroxene saved up in preparation for this event, the 100 free pulls only makes it easier for me to get every limited upcoming.
Actually Makoto is also very useful for yellow drills because of the increased efficiency buff

攻撃、HP、治癒の3種で、それぞれ数字は＋１５０程度（HPは１０００ほど）と少ないので必須ではないですが、この僅かな差が総力戦の違いになるのでランキング狙うなら必要になります
それ以外は贈り物やオーパーツの素材が少々です。また、セトに挑むためのコスト（AP,チケット）は一切必要ありません
I prefer MuMu Player 12 as an emulator, myself. I find it a bit more polished than LD Player and just as smooth. It handled auto-rotating the screen to vertical for the Maid Aris/Yuzu minigame correctly, while LD Player did not.

16000 Digicash (Their premium currency) for that.
Daily quests, Frequent refreshes of always available ways to grind for Digicash (PvE CoOp, Ranked run at a Boss challenge, Roguelike maze arena.
All events done so far include copious amounts of quests that award DC as part of them.
They RERUN previous banner charas far more frequently.
Even without the top weapon for the character (oftenly comes in tandem with said chara to boot), the 4* ones are good enough, so the grind for rolls can be focused on the character.
Periodic launch of codes containing a nice amount of DC as part of the rewards.
Honestly, given how BA tends more than not to just spook you with low meta and low Waifu Purples, especially how garbage their sustem is without a soft pity to hardcap how bad those spooks can be.
Players should go Waifu > Meta in BA.
So choose your waifu.

But newer players might not have Ako/Himari, especially Ako since her banner was some months already. Also Iroha is not limited, so getting someone who can spook anytime is kinda eh, especially because not many raids uses Iroha, its just Perodizilla, and in story/missions nothing is too dangerous to make you get a specific chaacter just for that.
as a newish player i can say that Iroha is my focus on this banner, not because of endgame or raids, i can pull for the needed charas later. Iroha brings the much needed COMFORT into pve. it is extremely tedious to catch up on 24 missions of normal AND hard missions(soon to be 27 i think?) and just being able to breeze through these is all i could ask for in my stage of progression.

Is the same reason i use Minori, the area is just big, not big enough to be unfair but enough to be effective, so can catch weak back liners, specially anoying Shuns or "The Bitch"
I have literally be stone wall several time by healing/tank spam because the strategy is "wait for iroha and she kill anyone not a tank" then tank vs tank is a healing slog spam until a lucky crit or time out.
In previous seasons Tank/heal was rare and a welcome change of pace.
There is some misinformation in this video:
1. You don’t miss out on the free pulls if you don’t log in a day. You will get all the pulls at once if you log in on the 7th day
2. I’m pretty sure similar buffs can stack if they are in different skill slots ex. Passive and sub
my 84k Pyrox is ready, 300 pulls for Makoto/D.Ako Banner(plus the 100 free pulls = double spark), 400 Pulls for D.Hina banner (double spark for D.Hina and S.Hoshino + Chance to get Mika)

I think it's okay to miss days as long as you log in on the last day. I saw someone that was rerolling during the middle of the Kanna banner during the 100x free pulls, and they already had 60 of the 100 free pulls available.
It does not make sense that Makato is a limited character when she is just a normal version of that student like Hina normal.

You can use the free 100 pulls only on the D Ako or Makoto(maybe Iroha? Idk), and the pulls will expire if you don't use them and it is applicable only during D Ako & Makoto banner, it won't carry on

so yes makoto, d.ako, iroha, and the '4th regular recruitment banner' in that 7 day period is where 100 free pulls can be used.
azusa wasnt phased cause D.Ako's normal was better than hers, she was phased out cause both D.Ako and D.HIna are filling her role plus the role of regular ako.
FYI, azusa is still highly relevant for content. this is an tool box game, get your farmables. even if they are not the BIS for 1 raid anymore
"you can never have 2 same type buffers", this is false. you can have 2 same type buffers in the team, however the main condition for them to stack is if they are from different slots or different means of targeting (field, self, targeted)
nonomi momoi and cherino are all mobbers, however cherino is not free, and nonomi/momoi got their own issues...

If you are looking into pity (in the context of this season), you will need additional 90 pulls (10800 pyro) plus 1 10pull ticket which will be given after the current Grand Assault.
If you can gacha both for both of them are quite good .
Hmm, after watching this vid, I think I'll actually save my Pyroxenes(I got like 21600 rn) and just pray with the free 100 to get dress Ako for...two reasons. And I'm not really beginner, but as much as I'd like to get someone useful like Iroha, I wanna save for Anni banner and get all the limiteds(and hopefully Mika or S Hanako, or Wakamo) which made me wonder, are the off rate up limiteds also gonna be selectable for the 200 pity or no?
they won't be. only dress hina and swimsuit hoshino can be redeemed. the other limited fes characters are available but at a non boosted rate of 3% (instead of 6% for every other 3* available). good luck.

No you can't use it on the next banner so use it before that

so you can only use the free tix on those banners in that alloted 7 day period, i.e. no d.hina in that period.

yes she is very valuable in the arena, but when i go up against her I like to win as quick as possible, tsubaki can survive her if she gets a good heal but i don’t like that situation

While I am a "😭" master. I admit, I am going hard (get it) on Dress Ako and then try to see if I get Iroha. While Ibuki is more my type, I gotta say dress Ako is the sort of girl you really want to put a ring on and then parade around the city to make everyone jealous.

Yes. The 100 pulls can be used on any three banners + the free grand assault ticket if you still have it. If you go up to 200 pulls, you can use the 200 recruitment points to get any of those three characters (Dress Ako, Iroha, and Makoto).
I'd probably pull on Dress Ako because she's limited and therefore can't appear outside her banner. I also own Iroha, but haven't used her. But your friend should follow their heart.
giving out Ibuki for free is extremely based from the devs.
Picking Makoto over Ako is a guaranteed way to have terrible luck on Hina's banner.
guys is it worth it to get to the 200 pity since im at 160? i already got dress ako and makoto, but i kinda want iroha, i have 24k pyroxene left, i didn´t get any of them with the 100 free pulls sadly
I think you should get her since you're only 40 pulls away to hit pity (which is 4800 pyrox) or if you still have the free pull tickets use that instead.
Let's just pray to RNG gods to bless our pulls in D.Hina banner (I think there's going to be a rate-up during her banner).
