He said there was no altercation, there was. He had a chance to tell his side, he didn't. He was found guilty of reckless assault(or something of that wording), not because he intentionally meant to harm her, but because he used more force than was necessary and ended up hurting her, the intentional charges were dropped.

There's literal footage of his using excessive force on her.
He assaulted her when he put his hands on her, picked her up from behind, and threw her into the car three times. While doing that, he caused her to be injured. That is one of the charges of which he was found guilty. This footage cut these actions out.
All I see is a man shocked that he has lost his career.

Strangely, she faces no charges despite being the aggressor, but he is charged with misdemeanors that goes to trial.

I really hope he comes back from this to clear his name and to return to Hollywood. What has been taken from him is irreplaceable but to see him return as Kang would be a step in the right direction. Based on the evidence to even be convicted shows an uphill battle - in my opinion - the burden was on his team to prove his innocence and not on the prosecution to prove his guilt, as the law is designed. What’s more, is various media outlets are choosing to omit just how much doubt was raised in the prosecutions case particularly from their own witnesses.
