Alligator connectors allow for connecting the MN-Converter to either the TB3 or TB7 CityMulti communication buss lines. Once connected a standard A to B type USB cable (not included) is used to connect your PC or Laptop. Once Maintenance Tools (Software) is installed on the PC the MN-Converter allows for full diagnostic information to be viewed and for full system control for troubleshooting purposes. Also known as an MN-Converter.
You can also connect the MN-Converter tool directly on the TB3 MN connection points within the VRF head unit itself by removing the front cover and gaining access TB3 ports that way. You can also connect to the TB3 port on the condenser unit's motherboard as well.
As long as the Mitsubishi system network is daisy chained together, you will be able to see all of the Mitsubishi devices no matter where in the MN line you are tapping into.
