Fl studio mobile is a paid software :p
If you want a good (technically) free daw on android go with caustic 3, I say technically because with the free version you technically cant save songs but there are ways around that because it keeps a copy of the song you're working on in its folder so you can go in there and copy it somewhere else before making a new one

if you want to prevent lagging you just have to hide the automations
(or go in settings and turn on multi core processing)
Also make sure audio mode is lower than native, maybe fast or safe, if you can deal with added latency

Sometimes a more simplistic DAW is better. I've got Ableton live 10 Standard, yet I still use Korg gadget on my switch regularly

Yo this is sick! Mobile DAWs are where it's at brother.
There really good for scratching down some arrangements and getting a beat laid out really quick or sampling stuff around you and making new presets.
I like to use a DAW called caustic, I lay out an arrangement out on mobile (sometimes on the toilet😎) and pop them into my laptop for proper mixing.
Making music is a lot of fun, there's so many things you can do just by experimenting around with a DAW! 💎

Hey Levi, could you please make a video on how to make a beat in general? I’ve been trying to make my own beats lately, but I feel like I really could improve them with some advice of someone more experienced.

Also messing around on your own is the way to go. You’re probably going to sound terrible for a while, everyone does at the start. You just gotta keep working at it. Also working by yourself helps you develop a unique sound. Not that listening to others works against that, it’s actually good for that too, but just creating is the biggest part.

@@KnzoVortex the problem for me isn't really music theory, it's the different sounds, effects, and certain samples that i lack use of. i'm broke and finding good free vsts that work well with the certain style of music i make is difficult for me.

When I first watched this, before I was making remixes and my own music, I said to myself “What’s wrong with those bases at 2:15”. I now see how dumb I was back then XD
the bass notes there actually changed the chords. It might have sounded a little jarring because of that. It changed it from a reggae esque 1(min) 5(min) progression to a much more EDM/Pop-y 4(maj) 1(maj).
I still don't know whats wrong with those bases. Can you explain??

Stuff like this masterpiece makes me inspirational. I decide to open my Fl studio 20 Demo. Spend 10 minutes doing a bassline. 10 minutes to make percussions. 10 minutes to make some lead or piano sounds. Realize it's garbage.
My first beats were awful as well. Practice for about a year or more, you should be good than.
